Oh uni!! It's gorgeous in the snow!! I can't imagine getting my arms around that ancient beauty!! That's got to be the biggest, oldest tree I've ever seen in my life! I do believe I've seen pics of the tree in bloom, so maybe uni can post one for ya lildeb! I wonder how old it really is!!!

My guess would be maybe 200 to 300 years old. We have a lot of trees here on Cape Cod that are that old; and big, old, beauties they are.
Right outside the Barnstable Historical Society is a Copper Beech tree that is about 250+ years old, just about as old as the house that shares its property.

That is an excellent link uni! You know I'd love to see that tree in real life! Too bad you can't get close to it anymore, that's one tree I'd love to hug, LOL! Well, if I could get my arms around it, that is, LOL!! I wonder how much longer it can live! I think it's great that it's being helped along and getting so much tender loving care!!
Hey, did you get to take Robb to see it??? I can't wait until he gets his internet fixed!!! I'm dying to hear how he liked it over there!!!

Oh you don't know how much I wish I was heading to England!! Some day, I will visit uni and we'll go prowling in all the awesome places she's shown me, and told me about!! I hope someday uni will get to come here and visit us, I'd love to show her all around!! Unfortunately, uni and I are both single moms, so right now, it's just a someday, until yesterday becomes tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow........
LOL!! Couldn't help myself but say that, but seriously, I do hope someday I can go visit uni! We can only talk about it now, but I'm sure with the two of us together, we're stir up all kinds of fun!! With all those ancient haunts and beautiful buildings and castles to explore together, I bet it would go by in a blur! On the serious side, I do really intend to travel someday and meet all of the great and special friends I've met through the wonderful pursuit of the paranormal!!!
