I don't know but to me it seems every one and there mother to day is a "Demonologist" i don't think throw can throw a stone with out hitting 4 or 5 of threes look i saw the exorcist and i have An idiots guide to demons get out of my way kinda Demonologist. It seems that people don't realize how not good this is. when you here people like John Zaffis, Adam Blai, Keith And Karl Johnson tell us how dangerous it is and how even they feel like there over whelmed. can you imagine how some one with no experience feels. So my suggestion is a Dangers of Ghost hunting show, From demons who can fallow you to geting arrested to going some where and getting hurt lost or even ending up a ghost your self. And even going in some ones house and braking something you cant replace. these all seem like real possibilities and i don't think people are giving any credence to this stuff.

No Karl, people do not give these things a wide enough berth. People who have had experience with these entities know this is nothing to fool around with, but then you have the general public. I've come to realize that demons are more common than I at first thought. The problem is that most people don't believe, and sometimes unwittingly call them into their lives. I haven't met anyone calling themselves 'demonologists' so far, and I hope I don't. These things are much too dangerous for the average person, but you'll never teach them that, or tell them that, they won't believe, until it's too late, and then someone like Keith Johnson will have to go and save them, if it's not too late, that is. Or they will let them loose upon the earth, for others to suffer. I do think that happens as it is, people who inadvertently, and not so inadvertently set these things loose, then the rest of us have to pay the consequences.
Reading a book on demons doesn't make someone a demonologist. But try telling that to the guy who just read "Demons for Dummies" and I think you'll see my point. Some people just can't be told a dang thing, and others don't want to be told. Unfortunately, until the field of paranormal research becomes a mainstream science, there's not much any of us can do. Well, except maybe pray that noone causes too much havoc with their fool ways!
But great point Karl, I just wish there was something we can do about it. There is, but it takes time, and patience, and that is to educate as many people as we can, and hope that not too many have to learn the hard way. Knowing demons the way I do, they're probably having a field day with these so-called demonologists!!
