WCG had a great time, all alone in the dark deserted woods of Freetown, at Profile Rock! It was very humid, but much cooler than it had been all day. We'll be going over the evidence as this week goes by, and I'm hoping we captured some great stuff. We did both have personal experiences, and I will add to this as I have a chance, so you can get a feel for what it's like out there, all alone, in the deep, Dark Woods!
But for now, I'd just like to thank Spooky Southcoast for having us, and all the other teams for being there in the field with us, and of course Christopher Balzano and Jeff Belanger for all their help!
Looking forward to sharing any evidence we may have collected with you all! Stay posted for when it will be released!

Well, I'll tell ya this now! The guys wanted us to climb the rock, in the dark, so we could become ghosts for them to investigate, LMAO!! Only thing is, me, as a ghost, would be more than they could handle. For I promise you this, if I become a ghost, I'm going to be the most mischievous ghost the world has ever seen....muwahahahahahaha!!!!!

I don't want to tell you guys too much without knowing how Tim wants to present the evidence we gathered while out at Profile Rock. But I can tell you it was a very Spooky night out at Profile Rock. I can tell you that Rene and I had personal experiences that were quite profound. We ran video, still photographs, and EVP sessions. I also utilized the Hack Shack once again and we used EMF detectors and the K-2 meter.
A strange thing that I did note was the crickets, or the lack of cricket song for a huge portion of the time we were there. Now, I don't know how many of you know this, but I am a person who spends a large percentage of time walking in the woods. I grew up in the woods practically, and I feel very comfortable there, night or day. Normally when you walk into an area where there are crickets, they stop singing for a little bit. Once they become accustomed to your presence, they will begin to creak again. During most of our stay at the Rock, they did not peep at all. Right before we left, they began to make their song again. I found this a bit strange in itself. I am not convinced that it was our presence that caused them to stop their nightly serenade for such a long time. We were basically quiet, talking among ourselves and mostly staying in a small area. (Except for the time I yelled at the deer, trying to make them find another place to crash around.) I think something made them uncomfortable for a bit. Shortly before we left they began to sing again. I didn't notice right away, I kept thinking there was something missing, and finally it dawned on me, that the crickets weren't making their usual racket. I can't say for sure, but I believe it was another presence that made them so quiet.
Another thing is that I felt a bit uncomfortable myself out there. I couldn't really put a finger on it, until I returned there yesterday and felt as if the Rock had a whole different atmosphere. I mean hell, it could have been the fact that we were alone in the woods close to the Freetown State Forest with no weapons. (Which come on! Doesn't anyone else carry a weapon in their car? Wherever I go, I'm armed and dangerous!) Whenever something went crashing through the woods, we turned, expecting humans to be encroaching on our space. I believe it was mostly deer, they seem to make an awful lot of noise, but then again, they really have no natural predators around here, other than man, and even then we can only hunt them in the fall. I'm guessing the lack of predation has caused them to become noisy buggers. Or maybe it was Puckwudgees running through the woods, hell bent on throwing sticks at us, LOL! Either way, I did notice how different the Rock feels during the day, by returning yesterday for kicks and giggles. I told Rene that during the day I think it's a Wampanoag place, and at night, it's something else.
For I will tell you this, the evidence that I've recovered from the Rock has nothing to do with the Wampanoags, and I think relates more to the Freetown State Forest and the infamous crimes that occurred there. I don't say this because it felt much darker there at night than what was caused by the lack of sunlight. I say it because of what I heard in the hack shack, and from what I've recovered for evidence from that deep dark night in the Dark Woods. (Yeah, I'm plugging you Christopher, hehe!)
I will also say this. I did not recover as much audio as I usually do from an investigation. The spirits that were communicating with us did not seem to want to get too close to us. Many of the EVP clips that I have are distant and too soft to even manipulate to understand them. But even so, there is one class A that makes me wonder what, exactly, did we come in contact with that night. Of course there are other clips that aren't the same quality as that one, but even so there are a few others. They very much make me wonder. I also wonder if anything can be done to purify the Rock of this part of the area's history. To return it solely to the Wampanoag spirits. If somehow, what was started years ago, can be erased. Cleansed. Made whole again.
I will say this, we've got some good stuff here, and it looks like Rene has some great audio also, which I have yet to hear the rest of what she has. I have heard one that makes me wonder even more. I think that Rene is going to fit in well with WCG, for she thinks, takes in the situation, makes adjustments, and experiments with things, to produce better evidence. WCG is all about thinking, experimenting and adjusting to situations. She does that very well!! Look for more exciting changes happening for WCG to improve the team! I've added a psychologist to the team, and also, a psychic!! So yes, we'll be doing some great experiments utilizing the new team members in their area of expertise, and I look forward to experimenting more with these exciting new members!
I will be working on my official investigation report for the Spooky Crew, but I wanted you guys to have a head's up that we did recover some very interesting evidence. So look for the evidence review show in the near future. I think you'll be as excited as I am over the evidence my team, and the other teams who participated have gathered. And I'm very sure that you'll find the evidence I'm sitting on at the moment is extremely SPOOKY!
See you all at the evidence review show, when it comes, and I know you'll enjoy it! Muwahahahahaha!!! (Yup, I'm a BIG tease!)
