Listening to all you Lizzie Borden fanatics only makes me appreciate why I abandoned the case years ago. You people are pathetic, with your "ghost" theories and suggestions that 92 Second Street is "haunted" by Lizzie's ghost. First off, Lizzie didn't die in the Second Street house, she died years later at Maplecroft on French Street. Why would her "ghost" still be haunting Second Street? I spent several nights in the Second Street house long before it was a tourist attraction and NEVER encountered any paranormal activity, ghosts, bumps in the night, or any other such nonsense. People like Faye Musselman (a known Borden nutjob) like to perpetuate and exploit Lizzie's name and memory for their own self-serving interests. Then some idiot named Keith calls in tonight to suggest he's a "direct descendant" of Lizzie Borden. Anyone who claims such BS is an idiot! Neither Lizzie nor her sister Emma had any children, so pray tell HOW would he be directly related to Lizzie? I studied the case for over 10 years and worked on several documentaries and was founding editor of THE LIZZIE BORDEN QUARTERLY, and I can attest to the fact that Lizzie killed her father and stepmother and got away with murder. Period. The mystery has been solved and you conspiracy theorists need to get a life! Those who claim otherwise are only looking to make a buck off the Borden legacy.

Welcome aboard. I have been in the Lizzie Borden house on investigation. I can't tell you exactly what is going on in there, but as Keith suggested there is an increase in activity in the house. He also didn't say he was a direct descendant, he said his grandfather or great grandfather lived next door. Also, there are descendants of the family, they did have relatives. Bordens, Durfees and Morses still exist in our area today. Now, knowing what I do about spirits, I really don't think it matters where a person died, a spirit knows no bounds of time or space and can travel to where it wants, when it wants. I have a couple of theories on the Lizzie Borden house. One is that none of the spirits are human, but pretend to be. The other is that the increased amount of people in and out of the house calling on these particular spirits has brought them back into the home. I have some very compelling evidence in that house. I think rather than arguing this out with you, I'll leave you with that. There is something going on in that house. I have been in this field for over 20 years, I am a careful and observant investigator. My partner on my team, Whaling City Ghosts is a research chemist and we use scientific methods. Though I can't tell you if evidence I've gotten is Lizzie herself, I will claim that it is of spirit origin. In the case of the evidence I'm about to present to you, there were only my 2 team members, (WCG is small and private, we like it that way) the Spooky Crew, and one magazine reporter for SoCo magazine. There is more to this house than meets the eye. Maybe you experienced no activity, but when did you stay? Something is going on here and I have to attest to that, I've been there, a few times, and each time, I've either recorded evidence, or witnessed things that I could not explain. In the paranormal field we do not give ultimatums, all I can say is something is happening there and it's paranormal in nature. I also know that some people can not experience the paranormal. I can not tell you why, but some people are incapable of experiencing it. I do not know if it is because they so refuse to believe that things go past them and they refuse to see, or if because they are not attuned to it, they are incapable of experiencing it. I only know that I have experienced much in Lizzie's and I would give it the label "haunted." But haunted by what, I can not say. I think it would take much more research than I am able to do in the house to even come close to knowing that. But I agree with the Spooky Crew, there is a "dark side" to Lizzie's. Maybe the murders committed there caused this, maybe it's something else. I guess we'll never know. But I invite you to hear this audio, and if you can give me an explanation for where this audio came from, I'd love to hear it. But do remember as you try to give your explanation that my team mate and I are very credible investigators and take pride in what we do! I'm a good daughter: www.4shared.com/file/114644347/af8eacaa/Lizzie_Borden_Movie.htmlInteresting clip here. I have experienced this myself. In the chimney room, the Hosea Knowlton room to be exact, there is a strange phenomena that happens. If you lay on the bed, something grabs your leg and lifts it. Though the thing that does this only wrapped its hand (?) around my leg, and didn't lift it, I've watched it lift Tim Weisberg's legs and was amazed at the audio I recorded on one try. I guess the spirit is tired of doing parlor tricks. I do not for one moment think this is a Lizzie Borden associated spirit, but something darker, that has attached itself to the house, or possibly the circumstances that surround it. You'll hear Tim ask it to pick up his legs, then you'll hear an awfully scratchy, nasty sounding voice, and it tells him "why don't you go "f" yourself." www.4shared.com/file/102025066/a626049b/GabbyNumber6.htmlLater on in the same room, the spirit calls Tim an a-hole. www.4shared.com/file/102025065/3f2f5521/GabbyNumber18.htmlNow these are just a sample of some of the evidence I've gotten while on investigation at Lizzie's house. I also have a couple of pictures that were a bit compelling. When I have a chance to find them, I will add them. What you have here is not evidence that Lizzie is alive and well, but that something is going on in the house. What brought it on? I don't know, could be that much more attention is being paid to the ghostly side of things. May not even be the Bordens, for all we know. You claim you stayed there and didn't experience even a bump in the night. Sometimes that happens but we go home and find that we have audio, direct answers to questions, etc, in our recordings, and that's not only at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast that this happens. Did you record audio, or use any type of investigation equipment while you were there? You might not have experienced anything, but maybe they experienced YOU! So in some cases, it does pay to be open minded. For like I say, I can not tell you for sure that the Bordens are present in the home, but I sure know something is!

Man, I hate when they hit and run! Probably not ever going to come back and face the evidence! I can say one thing, I dare this person to come on into Lizzie's with me and the Spooky Crew! I'm sure we could show this person a thing or two!
Hmm, does that make me a poet!??

I wanted to come back and add more to this. When I drive, I think as I'm concentrating on dodging the crazy drivers out there. I was thinking about this thread and the implications on both sides. You have to be fair with a case like Lizzie Borden's house. There are multiple case scenarios going on here. It's a tangled up mess, and becomes a case of which came first...the chicken or the egg? I can not claim to have all the answers to Lizzie Borden's case, but I can say that I have a few ideas about some of the possibilities that are happening. I've seen many repeat scenarios in many hauntings, and I think sometimes things do follow a pattern. In nature, circumstances try to remain balanced. Take a piece of meat, say a large roast, and salt it. If you could look at this piece of meat over time, you would see that it becomes hydrated in the end. Nature is trying to seek a balance, the salt is drawing the water out of the meat where it is most heavily concentrated, and the water is trying to redistribute itself evenly....seeking balance. Maybe where there are certain circumstances, it attracts certain things, and makes other things possible. Maybe certain case scenarios, certain "hauntings" that make nature have to seek balance. I think you see where I'm going with this. If spirits are a natural order of nature, which they would have to be in some way, in order for them to happen at all, is there some balance that they must seek, or do like substances attract, in some way, making them congregate if they find the right "place" or "scenario" to exist? Can certain places be grand centrals for spirits, where other places are not? Can events make this occur, or is it geographic? Is it the psychic resonance of people continually going there and asking for spirits to appear? How many times have people gone to Lizzie's house and called her name? Andrew's? Abby's? Has a psychic event occurred? Bringing in more than we imagined?
I can't say for sure exactly what is going on at Lizzie's, but I CAN tell you I've witnessed many types of phenomena there. All of them paranormal, but maybe not all of them caused by "spirits" as we know them. I'd like to sort of break up what I've seen into categories. But to me, there is a combination of things going on in this famous house, but it would take years of research and investigation to be able to disentangle all the possibilities here. What does fascinate me about Lizzie's is it seems to me, the more interaction the living have with the activity in the house, the more the activity responds to it.
Audio evidence has been captured during each investigation that my team has performed in Lizzie's. Many will argue whether this suggests a haunting or not. I do take audio into consideration if it is interactive with the living people or if it has direct bearing on the historic aspects of the property. (I do tend to see that history, as obscure as it can be, usually has some bearing on the haunts.) I have not only recorded interactive spirits in this house, but recorded voices that may or may not have been aware of our presence, but related to the Borden's part of the story. (I will make this available, there's some interesting stuff in my audio at Lizzie's.)
Photographic evidence has also been taken in Lizzie's, by my team. Others have taken pictures that I have seen that I found interesting. I was actually in the basement of the house, using a friend's camera (Robb Kaczor, OSPI) and took a few shots when I had a feeling. A dark moving mist was captured in my shots. (I'll also make these available.) For me, it seems as if there is less photographic evidence in Lizzie's than audio evidence and personal experiences, but some has been captured. In most cases, and after years of doing photography, I have to say that audio evidence is more common. I can not say why this occurs, only that it's possible that it takes much more energy for a spirit to manifest visually than it is to manipulate sound, but I have no other explanation to offer you than that at this time. (As always, I say more research needs to be done.) For all investigators the full body apparition pictures are highly sought after. I've been in the field for over 20 years, in the latter part learning photographic and later audio methods accepted in the field. I have a couple of shots that I can say are a full bodied apparition, yet I have lots of audio clips. So it seems fair to say that audio is just more easily manipulated for these beings, whatever they may be. (And that's a whole 'nother argument as to what these things are, ask Jeff Belanger if you disagree, LOL!) Still, there HAS been photographic evidence caught in Lizzie Borden's and not just by my team.
Personal experiences don't always add up to much. But in the case of Lizzie's the personal experiences I'm going to mention were profound, and was backed up by audio evidence in some cases. I also watched the personal experiences of others and had no explanation for what I saw. Tim Weisberg was once pushed across a room in front of me. I watched him like the eagle I am, and had to say, something was pushing him. He put his hands above his head and called out to the room (Abby's death room) that he wouldn't even fight back, to go ahead and push him, hit him, fight him, go ahead. As far as my eyes could tell, something kept hitting his shoulders, pushing him back, until he was up against the wall. In that same room, there is a spot where you can't help but be pushed forward. It's between the bed and the bureau with the mirror on it. In the spot where Abby's dead and still form lay on the floor. As I stood there experiencing the push, and trying to fight against it, something started to happen to my face! I was burning on one cheek, like fire, a burning brand. FIRE! I mentioned to the others that my face was on fire. Gabby had to run into another room to grab our thermometer. By the time she was back, the feeling was passing and there was only a 4 degree difference between the two sides of my face. But there was a difference. I think if we had caught it when my face felt as if it was really burning, we would have seen a much larger temperature difference! Upstairs on the bed in the Hosea Knowlton room, I've watched Tim Weisberg's legs being raised by an invisible force. I've lain upon that bed myself, and felt something grab my leg, clamping my jeans to my leg, not raising it, but letting me know it was there. It was a very odd feeling to have this thing touch me, and I didn't like it much, to tell the truth. It felt like something that would happily try to rip my leg out of its socket if given the chance. Not a friendly gentle touch, not this. During Tim's time on the bed, something told him to go "f" himself when he asked if it would lift his legs again, and later called him an a-hole. So a couple of audio clips that fit the circumstances of personal experiences. Another personal experience we documented was in the Abby room again. Gabby had asked if the spirit in the room could make the temperature go down to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. We stood watching the digital readout on the thermometer go down slowly. As Gabby kept asking a male voice responds, "65...I'm trying." The temperature on the readout did get down to 65 after some time. These are just a couple of the most memorable moments of personal experiences, there are many more. I'm sure Tim could write a book, he's spent more time in Lizzie's house than I have. But even so, I've seen, experienced and recorded enough to say that something is going on in that house.
I've run out of time and actually have to go now. I am going to continue this later on or tomorrow as I have more time. I do have a couple more instances of activity to relate and I think it's important to get a picture of Lizzie's and ALL the activity that is going on inside of it to understand what I have come to think of as going on there. To me, it's sort of a big picture. Like take a house, add murder, and a long amount of time, mix in some human drama a few more deaths, maybe a murder or two, more human drama, then add the living element. People coming over and over again. Calling out to long lost spirits. Maybe those spirits if they're still wandering this earth, can come back. Or maybe others will hear that call and come to answer instead. But I do know this, I have reason to believe that something dwells in Lizzie's. I can't tell you exactly who they are, but I can tell you they're there. So, soon, I'll get back and finish this and add some pictures and audio for you guys! Bear with me, got a busy day today! Hugs!
