Is there really an apparition that walks at the base of the Bell Tower at UMASS Dartmouth of the man who built it on the 6th day of each month? Are there still voices at the ever-so-disappearing Lincoln Park? Are there really evil worshiping happening in the Freetown State Forest? Find out the answer to this and other questions of creepy nights. On Wednesday, August 6th, Urban Fusion is hosting a ghost hunting fund raiser to help raise funds for its many programs. (You can find out more at www.urbanfusion.org about our programs). We will be hosting a trip via deluxe motor coach in search of the answers to these questions and more in a series of ghost hunting tours. Come travel to UMASS Dartmouth, Lincoln Park, and the Freetown State Forest and see the answers for yourself. We will be having a motor coach transporting you to each stop with a psychic medium guiding us and speaking with the spirits of those answers we seek. Bus will depart from the Greater New Bedford Boys and Girls Club at 8:00 PM on the 6th of August and will last approximately 3-4 hours of hair raising enjoyment. To reserve your seat and the seats of your friends, physically speaking and not, please call Brian at 774-644-9100. The cost for the entire trip is a $50 tax-deductible donation to benefit the kids in Urban Fusion. Have a pleasant night and see you there.

Oh sounds like great fun! And welcome aboard Brian, nice to meet more local people! If you need help spreading the word just let me know, I wouldn't mind copying this into a myspace bulletin for ya! I haven't heard of your group before, so I'm off to check out your website, but while I gone, make yourself at home! (I'm thinking, you might want to call the guys when they're live and talk about this with them, they'd be glad to hear from you!)

Lincoln Park is still up? I heard it was already in the process of being demolished.

Actually, the remains of the Roller Coaster and parks of the park that existed near the pavilion are still up.

I went to your site. Do I understand this right? You're a non-profit organization that wants to bring music into kids' lives??
If I can help let me know. I'd help THAT cause any day!!! I'll copy your post here and put it up as a myspace bulletin for you, too! Good luck, it's so good to see people working hard for our kids!!!

Christopher thank you! You ca send it to 904 Broadway street in Fall river, MA 02724. we are actually looking at a trip into the Bridgewater Triangle. I work in Boston and ride the train from Middleboro and through the triangle. I actually went walking around the pond looking to see something. Felt a lot but have nothing visual.
I sepnt five years in the navy and was able to spend a weelend on the USS Hornet in Almeida, California. Haunted, yes. But as a shipmate to other sailors, it was a comfortable haunting and yes things happpend.
But thank you everyone! No one has signed up as of yet, or called to reserve seats. But if you can help get the word out, there are about 86 children that greatly appreciate it!

Any and all help you can get of getting the word out, is appreciated. Also if Spooky Southcoast or another organization would like to sponsor the event, let me know.
We are also currently planning a like wise trip to the Bridgewater Triangle, Bridgewater State College, definetely Salem, and Fall River for the Lizzie Borden Murders. We are also plannign a sit down dinner with a well known medium later in the year. Medium's name to be revealed later!

Ya know it makes me happy to see the paranormal moving up in the world. When you've got ghosts helping children, well you know we've moved on up! I'll try to help get the word out for you. I'll post some more myspace bulletins and add this to my other websites. Whaling City Ghosts is a small outfit and though we can't sponsor you we can try to help spread the word for you!

please only call 774-644-9100 for reservations. All proceeds now benefit a better program entitle Encore Performing Arts that helps to instill life skills and leadership qualities in our youth by providing a full range of musical experience and education. Students that have been turned down by area schools systems because of budget cuts, are now given free music lessons, and all funds raised help procure instruments for these children. Thank you for your support.
