Here's a few pics of our tour of Lizzy's house. I loved the tour and the tourguides are very up on the history of the event. They know lots of interesting facts, and the house gives you the feeling that you stepped back in time. The house definitely has a murder feel to it, is all I can say. You've got to make the trip out there and have a tour if you're in the Fall River area. Or even better, stay a night, and see if Lizzy's got anything to say to you!! Hope you enjoy the pics, I don't want to show all of them, you'll have to go on down and take a tour!!! Poor Jr. Investigator Zoe looks like a peanut next my wereboy, Jr. Investigator Tyler, LOL!! Pears and axes baby, LOL!! I sooo love the antique furniture!! Noooo, don't axe my partner!!!! If you go on a tour, don't call Mr. Borden cheap, I'll let them tell you why!! He's "frugal" LOL!! Lizzy herself! I find the Borden family coat of arms pretty funny, look closely, and maybe you will too! What a sweet and cuddly Lizzy doll, don't you want to buy one for all those sweet little girls in your life?? Christopher Reeves in drag, LOLOL, nah, actually it's Bridget, the maid. I hope you all enjoyed the picture tour of Lizzy Borden's so much, you go on over and axe for your own tour!!

I'm in the same boat as you Karl - Zoe cleaned me out at the anniversary party ;D - I didn't get anything either!
I found Lizzy's very interesting. Someone had told me that the house was small, but it really wasn't as small as I thought it would be.
There were locations in the house not exclusive to the murder rooms where I felt a tightness in my chest - what I would characterize as the feeling you get on the "down" slopes of a roller coaster. The only place I didn't feel that was (ironically, I thought) in Lizzie's bedroom.
It was a great tour, you definitely get your money's worth - they have some beautiful period clothing on display as well.

I think you got some pics too, didn't ya mme? Yeah, I didn't feel that stomach feeling so much in Lizzy's room, hmm, wonder why? The whole house sort of has a feel to it though, I must admit!

LOL - guess everyone takes just about the same pictures when they go there; I got basically the same shots as you did. Did you make it over to the graveyard? It is nothing out of the ordinary, except that Mr. and Mrs. Borden's heads are buried on top of their coffins.

LOL! Yeah we want to go visit the cemetery! I still can't believe they couldn't dig a couple more feet and put the heads with the bodies. They could boil the flesh off them and cart them into court but they couldn't bury them properly? Sounds like a bona fide reason to become a ghost, if ya ask me!!

Well, if they are ghosts, they sure do not hang around the house!

I don't know, I've heard lots of reports of activity in the house. I think I'm going to have to check it out for myself and see what happens. One thing I can say is there is a definite 'feel' to the house, even with all the tour goers!!

Well, if they are ghosts, they sure do not hang around the house! Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one...it may not be Mr. and Mrs. Borden in the house, but there sure is something...hopefully sometime soon, I can get the evidence to back up that claim.

From what I heard, on the tour, two kids from next door were drowned in a well on their property and they are the ones haunting the house. Noone has said anything about the Borden's haunting it. But, thinking that they are still there makes it creeper for some I guess. >^o.o^<

heya all ive been a member for a while but dont belive ive ever posted. Today however i just have to comment. Lildeb im not sure what your problem is I have never seen you make a posative comment on anything ghost related. If this field leave you so sour inside might i suggest something that makes you think less...perhaps watching paint dry or mold grow at least with those you can get the proof of SOMETHING happening with those unlike what you seem to get in ghost hunting which from what i can tell you havent seen ANYthing and take it out on others because you are obviously unhappy when any one gets anything. To the rest of the fine group that posts here keep up the good work and I cant wait to get futher evedence from Lizzies soon.
Good hunting all

Well hello, nice to meet you to, sshevie. It is nice to see that something caught your interest and got you to post.
In response to what you wrote:
“Lildeb im not sure what your problem is I have never seen you make a posative comment on anything ghost related.” Well, I tend to make common sense/factual comments, for the most part, instead of a lot of ooey-gooey comments; I would not call that a problem, but maybe some would, and that is okay. Check again, I have made positive comments on things ghost related.
As far as ghosthunting, and personal experiences before ghosthunting, I have experienced and seen many things since I was a child, and captured some things I can not explain on film; some of which I have posted (check again).
I am very happy for other people when they ‘get something’, as you say. But, for example, if I see a picture posted that someone says is a ‘spirit orb’ and I know it is nothing more than ‘dust’, I say so. I believe it is better to know the truth than to live in a delusion; in short, I would rather be honest than politically correct. And if something that I say proves to be wrong, I have no problem owning up to that.
“If this field leave you so sour inside might i suggest something that makes you think less...perhaps watching paint dry or mold grow at least with those you can get the proof of SOMETHING happening” On the contrary, this field does not leave me “sour inside”, I find it extremely interesting and exhilarating; which is why I stay in it. With ghosthunting/paranormal investigating we are looking for proof of SOMETHING happening. If something is questionable, we question it; that the way it is supposed to work, right? Is it not better to look at things with a skeptical mind than to take every single thing at face value? After all scientific proof does not spring out of taking things at face value. I am all for advancing the field of paranormal research; however, advancements can not be made if we ignore the obvious, refuse to question things, if we do not think outside the box, if we do not give others something to think about, and if we refuse to disagree with others and go along with the pack all the time.
As far as my last comments about the Lizzie Borden house, I am only regurgitating what was told to me when I went on the tour last year. And, from what I was told, this is documented. If someone comes up with proof that shows otherwise, wonderful! I would be very interested to hear about it and see the evidence, as I am sure others would as well.
If Tim, Matt, and Matt C. think that any of my comments are off the wall or horribly devastating to the rest of the forum, I am sure that they would tell me, and if they wanted me to leave because of that I would.
I want to thank you for your comments sshevie; they gave me a chance to put some things out there for people to consider. >^o.o^<

Hmm, I think what he was trying to say is sort of like this: You get more bees with honey, and you also help people learn more with 'constructive criticism'. Sometimes telling someone gently what they've done wrong will get you more than a thousand harshly said words. Everyone has different ideas, and ways of evaluating evidence. We should all stay open to that. This is an open discussion forum, let's get more people participating, and discussing things. Noone is the utmost authority on evidence, and we should all be open to the views of others. By doing so, we all learn more, even if it's how not to collect evidence in some cases, and how to be an effective teacher. Even when I taught people how to ride, I tried to keep it fun, this field is often times, not much fun, long hours collecting evidence can be tedious, especially when things aren't happening. When we share our evidence, we want opinions, but we do also want to keep it fun, and learn something in the process. This was meant to be a fun place, let's keep it that way! Stay positive, give support, and let's get it on!!!
