I couldn't help but rush to take a shot of this sunrise. It was just sooo beautiful! These are the best shots I could get out my window, LOL, I knew if I dressed and ran out, I'd never make it before the colors were gone! Hope you enjoy! I believe St. Anthony's is a landmark here in New Beige. You can see it from miles away. Hmm, wonder if I can find a date for ya, maybe some history? I'll see if I can't at least get a date for ya when it was built! Went and had a quick look, it was built in 1895 and it's valued at just over $3 million at this time. I'll see if there's any interesting history about it!

Hmm, good question! I'll see if I can dig anything up on that for ya! I've just woke up and it's a really busy day with birthday parties and christmas parties all afternoon, but I will try to see if I can find anything about that over the weekend for ya!
And thanks guys, I couldn't resist, even though I was half asleep still, it was just too beautiful to pass up!

I found out it's built of Springfield red stone and has 5500 lights in the ceiling. The building is 241 feet long and the 250 foot steeple is the tallest in New England! I'm going to have to go inside and see if they'll let me take pics of the statuary behind the altar. It is said the master sculptor of Italy, Joseph Castagnoli created a scene of St Anthony kneeling before Jesus with many angels. Sounds absolutely gorgeous! The church also sports 8 by 10 stations of the cross which are the largest in the world! The final construction cost of the building was about $342,000, wow, guess it gained a bit of value in the last hundred years, eh?? I'll see if I can find it, I swear there was something more I'd heard about the history of this church!
