I am currently working on a book which is a how-to manual on investigating. I am looking to collect information on as many groups out there as possible. The book is going to have a section on personal investigation stories as well as a resource for people looking for groups in their area. I was hoping you would be willing to take the time and tell me a bit about your group and answer the attached questionnaire.
I am also looking for as many pictures as possible, especially pictures of haunted locations, people in the field and pictures of things you feel might be ghosts. I am running a contest until the end of the month, so even if you decide not to fill out the form or have your group featured in the book, you can send in a photo and get your group credit in it.
Feel free to pass this questionnaire on to other investigators as well...
I thank you for your time, and look forward to hearing from you.
Paranormal Investigator Questionnaire
What is the reason you investigate?
Where is your group located out of and what are the places you extend to?
How many are in your group?
Describe the method of gathering EVPs you use.
What questions do you use when interviewing people who have had some experiences?
What would you say is your overall approach to the paranormal? Is your group more spiritual or scientific?
What is something that makes your group unique?
Are there techniques that might be unique to your group or any special equipment you employ?
Is there a famously haunted location in your area and a special, no so famous place, you investigate?
What kind of evidence do you think would convince nonbelievers that was such a thing as ghosts?
To you, what is a ghost?
Could you share a story where you learned something about investigating, possibly because of a mistake you made, or a story where something humorous happened.
Could you describe a time when something happened on an investigation and you felt profoundly touched.
