Something like this could only be true if it hit the National Enquirer first. LOL

I will have a friend of mine who is into rocks bigtime, check this out for you Angel. Thats what I like about the alien area of the paranormal, you can use science to check out reports and evidence, unlike ghosts where all you got with thier reports are maybe another script for a Scooby Do episode Deb....lol. I will do what I can for you Angel. Matt

Thanks Matt! Wasn't sure if this was legitimate or not, but he sure seems to have a lot of 'reports' and such! I didn't know what to think, and figured you'd be more versed in this area! Thanks so much!!

Matt I know will have all the background info on this object - I think this guy is leaning heavily towards the nut job side of the street.
It really bugs me when I see all kinds of rhetoric about "data" and "tests" all wrapped around mumbo-jumbo that looks authentic to a non-scientist. Looking carefully at what documents the FDA sent back to this guy actually SAY and then what he goes on to do with this information makes me infer illegitimacy to his claims.
The fact that anybody at the FDA at all took the time to examine this guy's samples is amazing; however, I can vouch that the letterhead on the second document IS authentic for FDA communications.
According to the public domain office directories available on FDA.gov, William Herman is still Director of the Division of Physical Sciences.
However, I don't really see any kind of "cover up" - the guys who looked at the rock were probably just as curious as the guy who sent it to them in the first place and they didn't find anything.
The spectra presented as "data" basically show flat baseline - nothing detected above the baseline (flat line) - when examined for infared or ultraviolet radiation emission.
The caveat being - it showed nothing for the tools used to examine the samples. That doesn't mean that it might not have other interesting properties if it was examined with other techniques.
As a partial example when this person then goes on to say at the top of the page -
THE US GOVERNMENT HAS REFUSED TO RELEASE THEIR TEST RESULTS CONDUCTED IN THE INVISIBLE LIGHT SPECTRUM OR CONFIRM TESTS WERE EVEN CONDUCTED IN THE INVISIBLE LIGHT SPECTRUM. IT HAS BEEN LEARNED THAT ONLY THE US DEPARTMENT OF ARMY HAS EQUIPMENT TO TEST IN THE INVISIBLE LIGHT SPECTRUM.
Well, part of the "invisible light spectrum" would happen to actually include the infared and ultra-violet, aka IR and UV - we can't "see" these wavelengths with the human eye. So this is factually incorrect. The documents from FDA alone clearly deatail that they did in fact examine the samples for IR and UV emission.
Alright, I am going to stop now. I had a bad day at work and I fear I am just going paranormally postal.

LOL! I hear ya about postal, I have those days too, but they usually involve a 14 year old wild man, LOLOL!! Thanks so much! I looked at all those documents, and must admit, I'm not a geologist or scientist and the paperwork he had just didn't make sense to me. The thing I noticed was the paperwork looked authentic, but then again, I'm sure I could do a pretty good job copying letterhead with my own computer. I'm not even that good, so imagine what people out there can do with a computer! It's so nice having you scientists around to help me wade through the technical BS!!! Thanks madame!

I would think that if this rock was so fantastical and mysterious and awe-inspiring that the person who owns this rock would never have gotten it back from the government. They would have taken it and told him to forget it. At least, that's what all of those Oliver Stone movies taught me!
