I was wondering if someone could advise me on paranormal groups in Pennsylvania? I am in the northeastern part of PA and was wondering if there are any groups in that general area that someone here might know about. Thank you for any answers.

You may wish to check out the Philadelphia Paranormal Research & Investigation Group if your into ghosts and there are a few others that are around there. Most are into the Gettysburg sites and a couple of other hot spots. If your more into UFOs then your local chapter of MUFON is a good place to start. These are the most popular groups and have long track records, but in the end its all up to you to choose the ones that you feel is right for you.(or if you really want to go all out, start your own group and then you can set it up to your own needs......Just make sure that you look and learn from what others have done before you.) Hope that helps and good hunting, looking forward to seeing you in the trenchs. Matt Moniz

Thank you. I'm near the Allentown, PA area and I don't know of any groups in that area. I will look into MUFON too. Thank you again.

Just to let you know, there is a Ghost Conference in Gettysburg this coming weekend. Don't know how close that is to Allentown; but would give you a great opportunity to meet up with people. Check out this link if you're interested. >^o.o^< conference.marylandparanormal.com

It's pretty far. I'm roughly 50 miles north of Philly.

Awwwww that's not so bad. We'll be traveling 8 hours +/- to get there. Some places are worth the trek (well as long as you have the time to do it)! >^o.o^<

Well, maybe us first timers ought to plan to get out there sometime! Hey lildeb, this tropical storm isn't gonna mess this up for you guys going to the convention is it?? It supposed to hit us today or tomorrow, I hope you guys will still leave! We shouldn't be hit too badly, it's not all that strong, should just be a bit of rain and wind! Let me know, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya, just in case!!!

Nah, the tropical storm watch won't stop CAIPRS! Remember the Mother's Day Flood this past May? Well, we went up to Salem, New Hampshire to America's Stonehenge during that storm. Granted the storm got progressively worse over that weekend, but we still went. (hmmm, speaking of which, I never did post pictures from there did I? Will have to work on that when I get back.) Last year we were supposed to go camping in Hockamock Swamp in the Bridgewater Triangle. Three things stopped us from going to that: alligator sightings and captures, a high Triple-E threat, and a hurricane that was barreling down on us. A little rain on the battle fields of Gettysburg won't be a problem. Although I am hoping for more sun than rain.

Awesome! I knew you guys were brave, I could tell when I met ya all, but then again, don't ya have to be brave to hunt ghosts!! I remember those storms well last year! I had more flood vehicles to look at than you could shake a stick at!!! I drove through it too, with my itty bitty mitsubishi like a 4x4, lol, what a trooper that car is, knock on wood!! The water was pretty high on the highway! No, I never did see your pics of Salem, NH, darn!! I have to wait ALL weekend to see them!! Good thing Spooky crew is having the New England Vampires show this weekend to keep me busy, LOL!! Have a great time lildeb!! I hope my horses find you some battle horses to take pics of!!! Here's the list from Spirit Society if you need it, cotton! www.spiritsociety.org/groups.php?Location=Pennsylvania&Amt=50&Pg=8&Submit=Submit

I looked through my pictures from Gettysburg quickly, and didn't see anything that looked like horses in them. Still got a lot of good shots though. When I have the time later in the week I'll look closer at them.
I'll get the Salem, NH pictures up too. >^o.o^<
