This is the picture I told you about on the show. I used low light photography on this one. I was aiming it at Elizabeth around the time that we had the strange temperature changes, and just before "something" attacked her. I'm not sure what caused it and I've been mulling it over for a bit. But at any rate, here it is, see what you guys make of it! I know the green thing is the light on someone's camera, I believe it was mmecurie's. It's the weird orange shape, and I believe it's around Elizabeth's head, for that's just about where her head would be, if you could see her, that is.

Did you take another picture, at approximately the same time, with a regular flash so that you can see what is in the room around her?

Yes, I did. Here it is. As you can see, her head was not directly centered in the window either. If this was a streetlight, I'd expect it to be more to the left, in the window. Whatever this is, is in the curtain area.

Thanks, that picture helps.
I lightened up the first picture a little bit, and you can see the four window panes, and the clear outline of the right side of her head and right arm and shoulder. That light colored area seems to be coming from the two bottom panes of glass behind her.
Looks like you picked up something outside the window, on the property. Maybe some outside lighting on trees/bushes. Considering where the house is, there is a lot of outside lighting at night. Should have closed the shutters before taking the picture, it might have made a difference. Of course no one knows for sure on that, but there is the possibility that it would have made a difference.

Hmm, help me out guys, LOL, as far as I can remember there are not trees where that's pointing from the window. Only fences and further away buildings. I think the trees are further back to the right from where my view is. I also lightened the pic previous to this, if anyone wants to see a lightened version. It is possible it's trees, but I really don't recall them being in that spot, but like I say further back. If I go again to investigate, I'll try a shutters closed shot, at this time, I didn't want to disturb Elizabeth. She was relaxing and trying to 'hear' what was going on, and I definitely wouldn't want to disturb that! If I go back I'll also take some shots from outside of what you'd see down there. I hope my memory's not failing me, ya know how us old ladies get....all that senility and all, LOL! But as far as my poor old brain can remember, you shouldn't be able to see trees from that view. Hopefully one of the others can remember better than me!

Good idea to take pictures of what is outside the window too. Just a way of covering all basis so that you can figure out any anomalies on pictures before claiming to have something unexplainable on film. With digital cameras, there is, almost, no such thing as taking too many pictures. Good idea to have a notebook too, to jot down quick notes. Just things to consider on an investigation.

Well, actually, you can run out of memory cards with a digital camera. No one can claim to be perfect, we all make mistakes. As much as we all try out there, I think it's also important to experiment and find new ways to do things. WCG isn't on a mad rush to get evidence, we're more into contact, though I admit, it is important for us to share our evidence with the world. I'm also not claiming this is a ghost, just an odd picture. Now I may claim senility and all that old age stuff, but my memory is pretty good. As you stand on the porch outside, the trees in the next yard are set back. There is grass in the foreground, and sprinklers, which funnily, some shoot into the street. Colleen and I were giggling as some people stopped their car, got out and did a rain dance under the sprinkler. There shouldn't be any trees there, but who knows, maybe it's a ghost tree, LOL!
I've watched and learned from other groups, and there are things I just won't do, and there are things I insist on. Most of it has to do with the human spirits involved, and getting them to interact with the living. While we are renegades and do things differently, I also think we get a huge amount of evidence in the form of evp recordings, so I'd say we do something right. We care about the spirits we come in contact with and we care about the living people we come in contact with.
Maybe this isn't a 'ghost' but it is an odd picture. I believe by showing it, there is a learning experience for anyone who wants to learn more. Many people who aren't in the field visit here, they don't get a chance to review pictures, or listen to audio. I try to provide a few things to look at, a few things to listen to. I must say, picture evidence is harder to come by than audio evidence. I've suspected for a long time that it is much harder for them to appear visibly than it is for them to talk to us. Out of all the pictures I've taken over the years, there are only a few that I can say are definitely paranormal, a few that make me wonder, and plenty that don't even have a dust orb to show for, LOL! As for audio evidence, I have 100's of voices of the dead on my computer. But here, to me, it's all a learning experience, and well, good plain fun.

Very true, you can run out of memory cards. That is why it is good to have an extra card, cameras, or have a laptop handy to empty your camera into.
I agree that showing pictures can be a learning experience for people. But if there is no discussion about a picture, then there is nothing to think about, and nothing to learn. I believe that every conceivable possibility should be thought of, about any picture; that is the only way to learn. I am brutal when it comes to dissecting pictures, especially my own. And yes, we all do make mistakes - it is all part of the learning process.
