LOL!! Nice! You guys got to go visit?! Ooooh, I'd love to go check it out!! I saw a show recently about the Lizzie Borden house. The person who owned the house had grown up there, is it still the same owner?? She said she'd had many experiences growing up in the house! If it's the same owner, what was the most vivid memory you have of a paranormal experience in the house!? Is it frightening to live there, or have you grown accustomed to it?
Oh and I almost forgot about your orb! Hmm, looks like a flash pic, and there are some irregularities inside the orb. I would have to say, probably dust. I hate to disprove orbs, since I do believe in them, but any flash pic, it's most likely dust. Now when I take pics, I try to take note of the surroundings and watch what I see in the viewfinder. If you can also see the orb with the naked eye, it's a great capture!! I've been learning low-light/no flash photography and I find I seldomly get orbs. But if I do catch an orb without flash, it's a little harder to disprove! Great pics, though!!!

The pictures are great! And reenactments are always in order. Yup, that's what I would do if I went there As far as the orb, there is glare on the wood and I am wondering if there is a window behind or nearby as well. I have got similar orbs in pictures as well. And when it looks like irregularities inside of it, could have just been a piece of dust very close to the lens. I'm not a very big orb believer. I have seen some questionable ones, but for the most part, there's just too much that can cause them, so I don't get overly excited about them. Lizzie Borden stayed here on The Cape for a short while. Here is a paragraph from the book Craigville on Old Cape Cod by Marion Vuilleumier that explains it: "Not all visitors to Craigville were as enthusiastically welcomed. After the hatchet murders of Mr. and Mr.s Andrew Bordon of Fall River, Daughter Lizzie Bordon took a cottage on the bluff. She didn't venture forth during the day, recalls Frances Goodell, who was a teenager then. She walked at night with a companion, avoiding other people. The residents were disturbed by her presence, not wanting to believe her guilty, but feeling she was. So the Craigvillites remained as puzzled as the Fall River residents over the enigma of Lizzie Bordon, and turned to happenings on the Midway, which were to have repercussions in churches throughout the county." This area in Craigville is still the same, for the most part. In June of 1871, the New England Christian Conference voted to approve the name Camp Christian for this 160 acre (approx.) village. I've been through this area many times over the 20+ years I have lived here on The Cape. Even before I knew anything about this area, it always gave me the creeps. It's one of those off the beaten path places that you wouldn't even know about going to unless you knew it was there. >^o.o^<

Interesting! I love how they put it, not wanting to believe her guilty, but feeling she was! I wonder if it's Lizzie, still visiting, that give you the creeps??!

Nah, it has nothing to do with Lizzie giving me the creeps. The entire area just has a weird feel about it. I have brought people there many times and without me saying anything to them, most people just don't feel comfortable there.
When I say I take people there, I make it like an outing. You know how it is, friends and relatives come to Cape Cod to be tourists, and I'm the tour guide. And this is just one of the stops along the tour route- LOL! >^o.o^<

I'm learning not to trust orbs in general, but this one is interesting because many people have told me they see a woman in the middle (possibly just matrixing).
However, not only do I see a woman, but it looks to me like a portrait of Lizzie that was elsewhere in the house (I have a photo somewhere, I'll upload it later).
What that means, I don't know...but I'm leaning more toward some sort of weird technical digital camera glitch more than the spirt of Lizzie appearing before me...but then again, immediately before snapping this pic, the last question asked aloud was (while doing EVP work) "Who killed the Bordens?"

Howdy Found the pics.... Interesting photos. Don't like the Ouija board personally but I guess its an added touch to the photo.... As far as the orb, it has a squiggly line in it that makes me think it was lint. But I like the photos of the house and I went to the Lizzy website, Pretty interesting stuff. What kind of feelings did you get in the house, please do be more desriptive..... I would love to visit the Borden's place, when in the Massachusetts area. Clara,

The Borden house is in Fall River, Massachusetts. That would be West of Cape Cod near the Rhode Island border.

It's not far from me! One day when I had to be in Fall River, I found it using my handy dandy auto appraiser's map, LOLOL! I took a few shots from the outside, but I'd looove to go inside for a tour some time!

Finally got up to the Lizzy Borden house. ;D
CAIPRS went out on an outing yesterday, and this was one of our stops. None of us 'felt' anything in the house though, not that we expected to, but the house is beautiful, nonetheless. Rosemary Ellen Guiley was with us, and this was her first visit to the house as well.
The tour was interesting and very informative. We were able to visit the Borden family graves as well. If you get the chance, you should check out this little piece of history.
Took a lot of pictures, but a quick scan through them did not show anything; but you never know. I will take a closer look and if I find anything, will post them.

I think I had some pics of the outside of the house! I still haven't had the time to go and do the tour, maybe one of these days, I'll get out there with my race car driver!! I'd love to see your pics of the house, whether or not there's 'anything' in them!! I just love old houses, I guess!
