Ghostly Figure or Double Exposure?

what is upposed to be the ghost, the white figure in the back right corner?

Yeah...it doesn't really look like one to me, especially since it's older film I'd think double exposure. Still, it's pretty interesting. But whoever the photographer was must've been a lousy shot...otherwise, why would the subjects be at the bottom of the photo like that? Unless, of course, they planned on adding in a "ghost" image later...

i have seen this one on the net and your right about the people not bieng centered. My eyes must be playing tricks on me because I see Mt. Rushmore or part of it in the tree area. does anyone else see it?

Oh yeah, I see the Mt Rushmore faces, now that you say it! What I was going to say was the same thing said above. Why would the people be positioned like that, unless they planned to use the extra space to add the "ghost" later. I guess there was a period of time when making fake pics like this was all the rage. I guess with the black and white film (which I've never used) it's pretty easy to add the effects later. I think some of them would put two exposures together in one pic, also! So I guess fake pics have been around for a long time too! And fakers to make them! Gosh, has it really been that long that these people still haven't found lives?

I've seen this picture many times before too. So hard to say. I always wondered if this is just part of a bigger picture and that someone cropped and/or enlarged it somewhere along the way.

And as far as all the 'other stuff' that you see in the picture? Isn't it amazing how many things you can see the longer you look. You can see all kinds of faces and shapes in the fog, or whatever that is in the upper part of the picture. >^o.o^<

Its like looking in the clouds to see what you can see. ten people can look at the same thing and see ten different things it depends on whats on our minds and what our mind wants us to see.

I have a great book called power of mind bought in the new age section at Barnes and noble its a great book teaches you how to harness natural powers we all have but are taught at a young age to suppress our powers, this book teaches how to unblock our minds. It is amazing how power of suggestion works.

It is recommended reading for anyone in the paranormal after reading this book it makes you look at life in general totally different.

Thanks for the info. I looked it up on Barnes and Noble's website; almost 400 entries under 'Power of Mind". Who is the author of the book? I'd like to take a look at it next time I'm at the bookstore. >^o.o^<

I'm sorry I don't know why I said power of mind it is called science of mind by Ernest Holmes.

That link should go right to the book if I did it right the cover is white. Its a great book. The crazy thing is one night I freaked my friend out when i mentioned how I fell asleep reading it and I swear i was still reading the book in my sleep.

If you get this book you will see what I mean it is a good book and it takes time to understand and you need to have a clear mind when reading it. It is best to follow the guide lines also it is broken up to read the book over a course of a year each day to read a paragraph that is so you remember it better and study upon what you read that day. I was reading ahead I could not put it down when I first got possession of the book.

I know what you mean about reading a book that way. I've done that before; a chapter at a time, then reflect on the chapter before you move on. Some texts are like that, too much to take in at one time (well for some of us). They need to be consumed and digested before moving on. >^o.o^<

Ooo! This book sounds awesome! Too bad I'm working on something right now, or I'd buy it to read. I can't read much now! I'm working on my book and my house, and a possible problem spirit, and painting my house, and, and ........

I'm hoping I can have the first draft of the book ready in the fall, so hopefully once I've got myself square with that, I'll have some free time to do some pleasure reading!!

I know what you mean, I have so many books that I have purchased in the past month. Don't know when I'll get to them, but at least I have them. Most of the time I use them for reference instead of reading from cover to cover.

Got to hope for a bad winter and being stuck in the house I guess, that will get me reading more. >^o.o^<

well this book is actually broken up with a check list of a chapter a day kind of thing its hard to explain you will see. It starts off January first read this page this paragraph. then Jan. 2 read this page that paragraph and then memorize this chant etc... i wasn't patient the first time i read it instead of reading the days i was suppose to i would go weeks ahead, then i tried reading it cover to cover but it should be read the way its suggested and that has you jumping from page 100 to page 1 back to page 89 next it bounces around you'll see. It is a really good book buy it when you get the chance and make it a new years resolution to read it for 2007. start off on the right day and it will be easier to follow.
