I heard an interesting story a while ago. It was about a brother and sister who were
together in a kitchen, when suddenly a pretty vivid image of their mother appeared before
the two! They were so upset, thinking something had happened to her, they called her to
make sure she was all right! Only to find she was alive and well, clear across the country.
The mother insisted she was fine and nothing at all was wrong. But it got me to thinking.
Can a person astrally project themselves to another place with no knowledge or memory of
it? Can a residual haunting occur before a person has died?
In most of the cases of myself astrally projecting, it was either an accident, once when I
was fully awake, or I'm asleep. During these events when I'm asleep, there is little
memory of the adventures but I feel very tired upon awaking. The one time that I did do it
while awake, I was very aware of it, and so scared, I jumped back into my body, terrified!
I do not think it would be all that easy for a person to leave their body, visit their
children, while fully awake somewhere else and have no memory of it. When awake, it is
an experience that you are fully aware of, it can be frightening or confusing to someone
who hasn't done it on purpose. Your sight becomes multi-directional, and is dizzying. You
are weightless and feel as if you are floating. The people I know who are capable of doing
this while in an aware state have control and remember where they've been, what they've done
and who they've visited. They consciously make an effort to do this, and direct where their
spirit will go when it has left their body. I suppose it may be possible to do this in an
aware state and not remember, but I find it a bit unlikely. But I'm sure an event like this
could happen in a person's sleep and they'd have no knowledge of what occured when they were
asleep, or what they do recall they assume is a dream.
Now on the other hand, a residual haunting is called an imprint of psychic energy that is
left behind after a person passes. But what I'm thinking, is if the residual haunting is
a psychic imprint, couldn't it be left there before a person even dies. A residual haunting
has no awareness of its being there, there is no actual spirit present. It's a psychic
'movie' of an event that had so much psychic energy, it leaves an imprint on time, or one
of the dimensions. A residual haunting apparition will have no knowledge of your presence
and will not interact with you. It can't, it's just a movie, there is nothing left of
the person who felt the emotions that caused the event to stay imprinted in a time or place.
A residual spirit could walk right into you and never know you were there. The spirit that
caused the residual imprint could be centuries dead, but still the imprint plays itself out.
What I'm wondering is does anyone else think a residual event can occur before a person
has died? I think it is very possible that some of these residual hauntings started playing
themselves out long before the person died. The cause of the event, the stress, hurt, pain or
hate that imprints the residual can exist in a time or place before the person dies. Then after
the person dies, it still plays itself out. It had nothing to do with the person's life, per se
but more the energy or emotions that caused it to be in the first place. So what do you thinK?
Can a person cause a residual haunting to play itself out before they have actually died? Or
do you think the energy can't re-play until the person has passed on? I am leaning toward
thinking that a person can cause a residual haunting long before they are dead, as long as
the right conditions, and probably strong enough emotions are present to imprint.
I am thinking this event that the brother and sister witnessed with their mother appearing
in their kitchen may have been one such incident of a residual haunting before the death
of the subject. It may be very well possible the siblings witnessed her residual while they
were together in the kitchen that day. Not knowing enough of this woman's life makes it hard,
but here is a couple scenarios I can imagine would cause a residual haunting before death.
The first, let's say she is a battered woman. This imprint was made in her kitchen by
being battered by her abusive husband. Maybe one day, she walked into the kitchen, full of
emotions and was beaten severely, right there, where they saw her standing. Or maybe one day
in the past, one of her children had been sick or hurt. She paced the kitchen, full of
anxiety and worry for her child. Again, the emotional turbulence is what imprinted, not
the actual person. So what do ya think guys, possible?? Lately, I've come to think, just
about anything's possible!!!
