I remember hearing that word when I was a kid, and I always thought it was just another name for 'the boggyman'.
I believe this topic was brought up in one of CAIPRS lectures. I'll go see what I can find out. >^o.o^<

Thats what I am trying to figure out. I came across the word doing some research for something else. I then looked it up, and came across what I posted in the above post.
Is it someones twin, that supposedly we all have a twin out there somewhere I know I do I heard about her. Friends of mine saw me on the M V F on days I was not there, and too many other occasions to list. My twin is local to me.
Or is it what you call the soul of a person who has astro-projected themselves. OBE Out of Body experiences etc...
Any ideas anyone???

I haven't been able to find any more information from what's here about the doppelgangers. Did find a Doppelsauger (the German cousin). This is a vampire of the Slaves of the Hannover region of Germany. >^o.o^<

Hmmmmmmmm may be an interesting subject for capirs to research, you have more manpower, and resources, etc....
There is not much info on the web about it other than it is a German word, and the 2 links that I posted above were the only things I could find.
The info is conflicting on one account it is saying it is like a persons twin and another says it is like what you see when a person astro projects themselves.
I am stumped

Guess it's safe to say that either no one is sure what a doppelganger is, or that some do know exactly what it is, but there is a big hush-hush about it. Conspiracy theories ;D got to love it.

LOLOL - Maybe there is no such thing as a doppelganger............could be that it's just a words that someone made up, and it can be used in a number of ways. Maybe it should appear as "dobbelthingy" LOL
