My girlfriend and i were using an ouija board the other night. a good friend of hers died a few years back of a car accident and we had contacted him. Now the investigator in me came out, when i started asking questions like crazy. I asked questions about him, and questions about other things like about sports he played. He told us his soccer number which turned out to be correct. theres no way my girlfriend knew his number. We had no lights or anything on, and i asked him what time it was. He said 2:06. i walked over to my computer, turned on the monitor, and sure enough, he was right.
It gets real interesting from here. I asked him if he would be able to enter my room if i invited him. He said he couldnt. He then told me he was outside my dorm room. I live on the third floor.
Then, i curiously asked him if he could prove of his presence without comming inside, or crossing any thresholds that could trap him here. He said he could. I figured throwing a small rock at my window would be do-able, and he agreed.
Right before we said goodbye, I asked him to do it. Without hesitation, he responded yes. and within the split second of landing on yes, a tiny tick smacked up against my window. So small that it wouldnt be noticiable unless u were waiting for it. It was extremely legit, giving that it was 2:30 am, no one was outside, and i live on the third floor. My girlfriend immidiately freaked out, but i promised her everything was okay. We said goodbye. I went to bed. My girlfriend stayed awake all night.

Just wondering why you chose to use a Ouija board instead of relying on a skilled psychic to get in touch with this person's spirit? Ouija boards are so chancy and can let so much in. Guess I just don't understand why, with safer alternatives to be in contact with a spirit, people still use these boards. Maybe it's the scare factor with using them or the reputation they have, I just don't know.

My parents got one as a wedding present back in the 60's when they lived in New York. Were they not made by Waddingtons or somebody and sold as a game...as one would sell a game of Monopoly or something? I'd say that has a lot to do with their popularity.

Popularity.............maybe. But I think it's more of a curiosity thing; and the attention given to them on mindless TV shows doesn't help.
Yeah, Ouija boards are sold as a 'game'; but a game is something that they are not; they are serious business. Doesn't matter if you buy them off the store shelf or make one yourself on a piece of paper, they will still bring more stuff to a person who's using it, than they bargain for.....and the stuff is far from good.
Most people dive head first into stuff like this, and don't worry about the consequences of their actions until they come and slap them upside the head. And then it's too late! Such is the human condition I guess. >^o.o^<

No oiuja boards need to be handled more carefully. They are not really a game. Most people stay away from them, and people who have knowledge will use them only under heavy protection. There are things that can be opened and without heavy protection, it could become dangerous. Did you try to use any type of protection at all?? I sure hope so, I like my ghost people to be safe, and if you're here on a ghost board with me, I hate to tell ya, but you're one of my peeps now, mwahahahaha!! I'd like to know if there was any protection in place. I think we have to go from there and see if we can't seal up any openings that may be sticking around. I'd like to know what your take is on this and why you went with a ouija board in the first place??

Exactly, why a Ouija board? There are so many other ways available for attempting to get in touch with spirits. I think EVPs are probably the safest. Maybe to some people EVPs are boring, and you don't always get something. Or is it that people hope to get into a 'conversation' with a spirit through a Ouija board. Is it the 'mystical' scare factor? Or maybe it's just easy to do; no training or research needed. It's easy enough, seems safe, what could happen? Anything that you do with the paranormal should be researched. And with the internet, there is no excuse to not being able to do so. Always good to ask around too. There is a reason that so many people give warnings about Ouija boards. Heavy protection is a good idea; however, if something with evil intent wants to get through bad enough, all the protection in the world won't help you. I always figure, if it's that dangerous and you need that much protection, why bother taking the chance? >^o.o^<

It seems most humans just want to do what they know they shouldn't... No matter what anyone says... It's the daredevil in us that some can't say no too.. and say... Ah I'll try it anyway nothing bad is going to happen to me...

LOL yeah I'm sure that we have all been there at least once, right? Guess with some things, some of us learn from experiences that go wrong and some of us don't. >^o.o^<

Don't get me wrong, I still take my chances with things from time to time. Like you said, it's a daredevil thing. However, I sure do take care to choose my battles carefully now. Guess there is something to be said for age and experience. >^o.o^<

Hey!! Who you callin' aged and experienced??? LOL!! Well, ya know, the way I look at it, is yes we unfortunately have to learn from experience. Watching my boys grow up, I'm amazed any of us make it to adulthood!! Boy, I think we've all done some really dumb things and survived to tell about it, LOL!! I sure know I have, and I've got the scars to prove it, teehee!!

We are looking for Ouija Board stories. Check out WWW.CAIPRS.COM and scroll down the page about three quarters of the way until you come to the heading "Ouija - A Child's Game or a Gateway To Hell." I have got to say that that's one of the creepiest pictures I've ever seen of a Ouija Board! >^o.o^<
