Several weeks ago you guys mentioned the "Celebrity P.P" on VH1. I caught a rerun the other night of the Waverly Hills episode. Now, I'm no expert on the paranormal but did anyone else sense set-up. Such as the red bouncy ball that kept popping up in different places (all in which the camera could see), or the part where Hal Sparks was tossing the balls to "Timmy" and how the one rolled back at him. But, I personally think the feakiest thing on the show was Gary Busey. I mean ny God is that man completely insane or what, and did his face look a little too tight on his head.
And one more question; is it a safe practice to ask a spirit to enter you as Hal Sparks did at the end of the episode? Sad thing was was that the show wasn't even entertaining.
Sorry for rambling but I live in Colorado so I can't call in. I catch all the episodes off this site and I also get your podcast. In closing I just want to say you guys (Tim & the Matt's) are doing a excellent job. I love the show and start going stir crazy come mid-week waiting for the newest. By the way the BBQ podcast is by far one of my favorites. Maybe you guys could do more straight up, uncensored podcasts now and then. I know I'm not the only one who digs the off the cuff, explicit, podcasts.
Take care fella's and keep on rockin.

Hi Spotty777, and welcome to the message board. Well, I am not one for watching the 'paranormal' shows on TV. I have heard about this show on VH1; and personally, would not waist my time on it. OY! People running around like idiots and calling it an investigation. They are far from professional, in so many ways; and I would bet my EMF detector that a lot of things on that show are set-up; entertainment (if you want to call it that), not investigations. As far as asking a spirit to enter your body ? ??!!!! Talk about being unprofessional, and stupid to boot! Anyone with half a brain would know that you do not do that, even in kidding. I have, inadvertently, picked up hitch hikers in the past, and it is far from entertaining. It is good to know that TV shows like this run their course and go away eventually. I would say your comments called this one right on the nose ;D >^o.o^<

LOL! I wondered if anyone else noticed that about Gary Busey, LMAO!! I could only stomach about 15 minutes of the show, so I didn't see the end. Did someone really ask a spirit to enter them?? Not only is it stupid, but I'd have to call that unprofessional, but hey, they aren't professionals are they?? I didn't see much of it, for once the insane Gary Busey and whoever that woman was started with the f you's back and forth, I'd had about enough!!
I'm surprised the spirits in Waverly didn't kick them out! They were lucky enough to get to go there, and they made a complete farce out of the place!! I'm sorry, maybe I'm jealous, but I'd love to go there, and I don't think it's a joke, or entertainment. It's a serious place, with some serious spooks! I really think I would enjoy a show that focused on real paranormal investigation teams and their different methods. Not a bunch of celebrities with no idea what they are doing! Yup, I'd have to say you've got quite a few points there, spotty!!
Hey, and welcome aboard!! It's great having you with us! You so hit the nail on the head with Gary Busey, I didn't think anyone else but me noticed, LOL!!

I'm not sure if Gary Busy's head is too small, or his teeth are too big!! The rally sad part, is that his son looks just like him! I caught about 20 min of the show, and had to turn it off. But I thought it was FAR from entertaining! I can only hope that it doesn't last long. Maybe some gossip show will come along, and replace it!

A TV show about a real investigation team and what is really done with investigations would not last. It is not a glamorous profession; and the Hollywood powers that be would add their two-cents to it and the show would resemble what TAPS does on TV.
From what I have seen, most serious teams do pretty much the same things, so a TV show about what real investigators do would add nothing much new. It is actually more fun going to a few conventions to find out what is going on in the paranormal community than watching it on TV.
As far as celebrities being professionals? Of course they are.............professional BS artists!

Those teeth always made me wonder if he was part jackass, LMAO!! I'm glad he's not my dad, if I looked like him, I think I would have shot myself long ago, LOL! Hmm, a gossip show? Well, I don't much like those, but heck, anything's better than this show!

Gary Busey is, was, and always has been a nut job. I'm not surprised that he continues to be one... ;D
With all the information that is currently out there, it seems to me that just by doing a little bit of research online, a person would learn that this kind of summoning or unguarded invitation is foolhardy and dangerous.
Based on my reading and listening to various podcasts and accounts, my working hypothesis is that there's a lot of energy at Waverly Hills, it's a VERY active location, with intelligent and residual hauntings, and I think that while the people that died there were not necessarily negative themselves, there was no shortage of tragedy and it's something that negative entities are likely to be attracted to, - easier to capitalize on, easier to "break on through to the other side" given the right set of circumstances.
So, if I was there, I'd've smacked him (Hal Sparks) upside the head.

In actuality, I've only ever smacked two people upside the head in my entire life, but should the occaision arise, I'm good at it.
One is a very good friend of my husband (and me for that matter) who got very drunk one night and stepped WAY over the line and made a very sexually derogatory comment to me. I smacked him so hard that the other side of his head actually hit the guy standing next to him, after which he apologized and acknowledged that he deserved what he got.
The other guy I smacked upside the head was a college boyfriend who was crass enough to tell my roommate and her boyfriend of his plans to break up with me before he actually TOLD ME.
However, while he was breaking up with me and getting the smack, my loyal girlfriends were soaping the crap out of his car (the worst thing they could think of to do without causing any permanent damage).

Yes, a good slap is something all women should have! Ya never know when it will come in handy LOL! And how rude is that!! Tell someone else about your break-up before you, he deserved that slap, and I doo love the one that his head hit the guy next to him!! That's great that your friends thought of something like that, without causing permanent damage, they let a jerk get his, I love it!! Goes to show what a bunch of nice people can do to an idiot when they set their minds to it, LOL!! I hope he was totally embarrassed by it!!
