Listening to the podcast of Penny Dreadful and the creature double feature talk made me remember a movie from my childhood. I didn't get to watch anything like creature double feature when I was younger but I did occassionally catch a movie on like amc or something and I remember one in particular that I can't for the life of me remember the title of and I have come here in hopes that the southcoast crew or forum regulars might know. It was a movie based on Medusa, thats pretty much all I know, it was like I wanna say either during the full moon or at night, I dont remember that a girl who lives in this castle becomes Medusa and I dont think she knows she is Medusa. I hope I've given enough to jog somebodies memory.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever heard of it or seen it. Do you remember how long ago it was!? For some reason, all I can think of is "Clash of the Titans" and I know it's not that one!!

the movie id say was old in a classic sense, it was in color. Id say best guess it was from the 60s maybe 50s, but I could be wrong.

This movie may have been one of the featured films presented on "Simon's Sanctorum" back in the 1970's. (Anyone remember that guy or that show?) Maybe it'll eventually be shown by Penny.

What about 'Medusa Against the Son of Hercules' (1962)? That is the only other one I could think of. You could always Google MEDUSA MOVIES and see what you come up with.

I just saw this! The movie you saw may have been Hammer Films' "The Gorgon." -- www.imdb.com/title/tt0058155/Speaking of Simon, be on the lookout for my 'Horror Hosts of New England' Halloween special airing this weekend which features rare, once-lost Simon's Sanctorum footage as well as an interview with Ernie Boch Jr., horror writer LL SOares and much, much more. Happy Halloween, Penny Dreadful
