I recently took a long trip in the car (6 hours each way) where I didn’t have to drive so I was able to catch up on all of the shows that are now on Podcasts. The show is great, but I do have a suggestion that I think would help the show.
I think it would be a good idea to have a full or half show that did not have any guests or calls where the three of you (Tim, Matt, and Matt) told your own personal experiences and reasons as to why you are interested in the field. I’ve gotten some of that from the other shows, but I think breaking it down now that the show is not just local to your area would help new listeners get a better understand of who you guys are, what you have experienced, and what your motivation for such a strong interest in the paranormal. With so many different people now able to listen to this show because of the internet and an iPod it would give a really good understand to those listeners who are not in the Massachusetts area and don't know you guys personally so these stories would be new to many of us. Anyways, love the show and thought I would pass this on.

I like your idea; we've been hesitant to share our own personal experiences (outside of capturing some evidence since we started the show) because we don't want to make the show about us. But I see what you're saying; it would be good to let the audience know exactly what it was that got us interested in the paranormal.
I actually spoke recently with my aunt and uncle, who owned the home where I had my first haunted experiences, after not seeing them for quite some time. I suggested the idea that when the time does come to tell my story, I'd like my aunt and one of my cousins to come on the air with us in order to support my story. It may happen in the future. At the very least, I'm sure we could start writing up our own personal stories and putting them here on the board as well.
And hey, thanks for listening. Twelve consecutive hours of "Spooky Southcoast" is an impressive feat! I'm glad you enjoy what we do. We feel honored and humbled whenever anyone likes our program, so that means we're doing a good job of bringing in the right guests and the right subject matter.

Needless to say the 6 hour trip was really helped by your show. God bless the iPod! I fully understand things that might be uncomfortable for each of you to talk about on the air like that. Obviously what would be shared would be up to each man and what he is comfortable with. I don't think this would make the show just about "you guys" but it would make this one show (or half show) that. I think it is different with the exposure the internet and the iPod gives you guys. I would have never found out about this show unless I typed in "ghosts" (or whatever I used at the time) to find this show. I'm sure more and more people are doing this now. That makes it different in terms of the people who are listening and are part of the show that you might know on a personal or professional level. Also having it in audio like that it makes it easy to answer questions when people start to ask this question to you guys. Questions like "what got you into this" or "what are your experences" will be out there so you people can always use that one show as a point of reference. Anyways, great show. You guys have a great production in using stories, guests, EVPs, and other recorded audio. Keep up the good work guys.

That is a great idea! I'd love to know what got you guys interested too! I think by sharing your personal stories you help people understand that it IS really ok to talk about these things. That's why I had to tell my story. For the first time I was with people who understood when I met up with my Spirit gangs and it has made a big difference for me! Many out there need to know that it's ok to talk, so by sharing with us, you tell everyone, just that!! I'm looking forward to hearing just what got our Spooky crew interested in the paranormal!!

You know, couldn't you guys put in a little blurb about yourselves in the "INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE" section of the message board? That might be a good place to start. >^o.o^<
