I don't think she gets those dreams anymore, do you cj? I thought she had said they were dreams from her childhood, but that makes sense about going in circles and ending up in the same dead end. Dream symbolism is so weird though. Like take for instance, if you dream of losing a tooth, it's actually supposed to mean you're suppressing anger.
You bring up a good point too about the past life memories, lildeb! I've read that people act out in unconscious ways things that happened to them in past lives. I even remember reading about people who had physical ailments with no medical cause that had roots stemming from past life memories! I guess this is going to be one heck of a show when they finally get Dominick on, eh??

Hi all Yea those were my childhood dreams... I think sometimes dreams can warn you of things to come so yea going in circles and ending up in the same dead end makes sense. Since I broke away from certain people the only time I had nightmares or violent dreams was when I was pregnant, I had pretty vivid dreams of either being a victim of a drive by shooting that was a mild one that I had some I'd just rather not put on line some extremely violent. Clara yes this is going to be a great show

I wonder what Dominick thinks of deja vu dreams?? I get them quite often. One person in the past, a doctor said deja vu dreams aren't really dreams. They're seizures according to him. You never really dreamed it, you see what's happening, then you have a seizure, and your mind "skips back and then forward in time" making you think you saw it before. I tend not to believe this, it would mean I had a seizure going on for about 9 years, LOL!!!

People can have small seizures all the time and not know it. So it just might be so.

I think in some cases, this may be correct, but not in all cases. Like I say, I would have had to have a seizure for 9 years for this to be the cause all the time! I know that I dreamed of my father dying when I was about 8. I know how many years I agonized over it, wishing I could make it not be true by never saying anything about it. I also know the dreams that led up to the accident with Leo occured for weeks before the actual accident happened. That was the only time I can remember having a recurring dream, or a deja vu dream that repeated itself. Usually those deja vu dreams I have only occur once. So yes, maybe sometimes deja vu is a seizure, but I don't agree that it is the cause of this, all the time!

Probably not all the time, but it can not be ruled out.
Yeah, I remember when you posted those stories in another string. I believe I put in the dream I had about seeing my sister-in-law's father's wake a few weeks before he died. I still have prophetic dreams from time to time. I am guessing that a "deja vu" dream is another name for that.

I'm gonna see if I can find out if that doc is still around. If I could help bring the science forward by helping, maybe I should see if he's still doing the study. I think this is bona fide paranormal dreaming when you have these kinds of dreams. I do remember reading about what you had said about that dream. I think it would be interesting to see what would happen in a study such as this.
Part of the reasoning I have that this is part of the things humans are capable of, is I sort of think we all could do these types of things. Yes, maybe some do have more natural ability than others, but I also think under the right conditions, anyone could do it. Maybe some can't, or maybe some don't want to, maybe some have grown up believing certain things, and this just doesn't fall into their beliefs. But I think if this is something humankind is capable of, and it seems to happen more often as of late (or maybe people just can talk about it more easily now) so maybe humans are evolving?? Maybe these types of skills will become commonplace in the future, for all we know!
I'm still open minded on the subject. But I still do have a feeling that if you dream something and it comes true, weeks, months, or even years later, it was a phenomena of the paranormal kind, not a seizure. Maybe the ones where you feel like that right away are small seizures, and they occur right there as it happens. But with these long term ones, I just can't see it being a seizure, unless the seizure is what caused you to see something of the future. But if that is really the cause, I still find it paranormal in a way. What did the seizure cause you to do, how did it make you see something that has not occured yet? Many things are not set in stone, and things can change, so how is it that someone can see something that hasn't happened yet?

Hmm, I never have put that much thought into it, and probably never will. I figure if you have dreams that come true, that's pretty cool regardless of whether it is a good dream or a bad dream. And I it is a gift. And I guess those types of dreams can be considered paranormal. All paranormal means is something that is out of, what is considered to be the 'norm'. Guess I would consider them to be normal though, because prophetic dreams are a natural thing for me. >^o.o^<

I can't help it, I think I got it from my dad. I like to know how things work. I'm totally enthralled by all the possibilities out there. There's just so much to learn about in this world we live in, and the ones beyond.....LOL!!
