I was just on ash, it's your turn, hon!! Rah Rah Rah!! We want ash!! LOL!!
I do have a question for everyone. What could they give me that would be the best advice for someone like me who wants to write? The stories here that I've shared are the skeleton to the first book I'd like to write, there's much more to the story, LOL! But as a new writer, what would be the best advice they could give so I could (cross your fingers) be successful and be published?

When I was at the Ghost Conference in Alton, IL, Mary Fletcher Allderdice, Managing Editor for 'GHOST MAGAZINE' gave an excellent presentation on writing ghost stories. Her power point presentation had a lot of good information in it. She said that she is going to put the information from her presentation on the website www.ghostmag.com within a couple of weeks. I am guessing maybe sometime next week; I haven't checked yet. Not sure where on the website it will be posted, but it will be well worth searching for. >^o.o^<

No problem.
My daughter has been taking a writing class for the past three years and is now working on her first book. She has been writing stories all her life, but said she never realized how tedious it can be putting a story together; even if it's something from your personal life.
I'm glad she's giving it her best shot though. That's all one can do, right? >^o.o^<

It is a labor of dedication lildeb!! I wrote a children's novel, I even had it edited, the editor thought it would be a best seller. What I found when I tried to market it was that it's very hard to get into the children's market. I spoke to Rona Zabel, who's from the area and has been published in the children's market. She said, write the adult stuff and try to go back to the children's book after I've been published, then they'd pay more attention to it. I've decided to split the book up into smaller parts though if I ever do try to market it again. What I do know, it took me a year to write 100 pages give or take and do the illustrations. I worked on it every day for that year, sometimes staying up until 2 am in the morning because I had young children to take care of in the daytime and early evenings. I am working on my book now, what with everything going on in life, I am lucky if I get an hour or two a day to write. It's very long, very hard work, but I actually love doing it. When I get going, I can hardly stop, but then life comes in and there's always something to do! I have no idea when it will be finished since it's going pretty slow with the amount of time I have to work on it! I wish your daughter the best of luck!! If she can stick with it and be dedicated, there's no telling how far she will go!!!
