It's probably a good idea to regulate psychics in some way. Over the years I have worked with some fascinating people with skills. But even though I've worked with legitimate psychics, it doesn't mean there aren't frauds out there making a buck on people who don't know any better. People who are desperate, people who need real guidance. I think this might be helpful to people looking for a psychic to help them, but don't know where to start. (Funny thing, people ask me all the time who to find a legitimate psychic and the best I can do is to tell them to try to find someone by "word of mouth." Usually a good psychic will have good references from people they've worked with. Other than that, there have been no ways to tell a good one from a fraud who just wants your money.) Having a background check helps to show that they do not have a criminal record. Making them pay fees for the work they do, well, yeah, paying the government is never fun, but it shows that the person cares about being legitimate. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this all works out for them. If it does, maybe more states should emulate this policy! Thanks for sharing! I hope you get that bumper sticker, they are way cool!
