Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & a happy holiday. It's been a fantastic year on Spooky Southcoast and I can't believe that that's another 12 months' worth of weirdness gone by! I hope everyone has a peaceful and happy break & I look forward to more of the same in 2010. All the best to everyone, David.

OH, I had a great Christmas and New Year! My little bubble, grandbaby, had a blast at my house on Christmas eve and then we had a great time on Christmas at his other gramma's house. I got a new audio recorder that I don't have to spend hours getting my audio on the computer AND Under the Dome by Stephen King! WOOT! I cooked up a storm and it's going to take weeks before I can fit out my door again, LOL! I was sad to take down the Christmas tree, as I always am every year. It seems like it went by too fast, and man, I could do it again right now! I love the holidays!
So how was everyone else's holiday? What did Santa bring you ethel that made you smile? What was your favorite present this year? What made you glad to be alive? Happy to celebrate another holiday season? For me, it's having a whole new year to investigate with all my friends, team members and of course, the one, the only, The Spooky Crew!

Hey, Glad to hear you had a good time - it does seem to go so quickly though doesn't it? We've been taking down the decorations tonight whilst watching snow pile up outside. Currently we have about 15cm (about 6 inches) but if it carries on falling like this it'll be over 30cm (1 foot) by the morning so getting to work will be unlikely - ah, shame.. Glad to hear that you got such great gifts for Christmas - will you be using your audio recorder for EVP or do you have another use in mind? I got some very nice presents - one of which was a bottle of my very favourite single malt scotch - Old Pulteney. Lovely and warming on a cold winter's evening.. Anyway, here's to a happy and healthy 2010 for us all & I look forward to another year of Spooky entertainment. Best wishes to all, David.

Happy New Year to all of you! Never heard of that particular scotch before, David. Is that only available over your way? I've been fortunate enough to make it as far as Johnny Walker Gold Label...there's a place in New Bedford that has Blue Label at only $6 for three fingers, but I haven't had a chance to stop in. I don't think they know what they have there!

I don't think they know what they have there! Hey Tim - happy new year! Old Pulteney is distilled up in the very far North East of Scotland in a small coastal town called Wick which is where my Mother-in-Law hails from. Link here: www.oldpulteney.com/As with many of the Scottish distilleries you can tour the place and see them making the whisky (they do tastings too - always a bonus) and buy various vintages in the shop. They reckon that Pulteney gets a slightly distinctive salty tang from maturing in warehouses right next to the sea - all I know is that it tastes great.. ;D Johnny Walker Gold Label at $6 for 3 fingers sounds like an incredible bargain - I'd keep that information under your hat if I were you..! Hope all's well over there, I believe it's been very cold in the Midwest & on the Eastern Seaboard - we're labouring under a major freeze here at the moment ourselves and it's expected to continue for at least another 10 days - typically enough, the UK doesn't seem to be able to handle extremes of weather so the snow quickly stops being a pretty novelty and rapidly becomes a pain in the backside if you need to get anywhere. Oh well. Anyway, thanks once again for the SSC bits and pieces - they are very much appreciated! Looking forward to another year of Spooky fun & games. Take care now, All the best, David.

Hmm, think we're going to have a scotch drinking party one of these nights! I'm not much of a scotch drinker, but hey, I can try, right!
Yes, the new recorder will be used for EVP work, and it will be awesome, since I don't have to wait hours any more for the recordings to record onto the recorder like I used to! I'm going to have to look into setting up an investigation just so I can break that new baby in!
I do wish we could do the holidays more than once a year, I do have such a great time, and hell, my last name is Joly after all.....

You'll have to share any results you get with your super new recorder - could be a show idea - perhaps a road test of digital recorders.. If you get Tim to reveal the location of the place selling cut-price Johnnie Walker you could do a lot worse - it's good stuff..! D.

Hmm, maybe I could hold Matt Moniz's male end (which I realized I still have) for ransom and get him to take me there, so I'm in on the secret, too! Though what would Tim care about Matt's male end?

The funny thing about it is that I've had poor Matt's male end since we investigated the Q-club last August! It's been such a well behaved male end that I keep forgetting I have it! I'm surprised Matt doesn't miss his male end! I know I would. (If I had a male end to miss, that is!) I'm going to have to go by the studio one of these nights and give him back his male end! I'm sure they'll be happy to see each other!

Is Matt particularly troubled by your possession of his, ahem, "male end"..?

Funny thing! I'm wondering if Matt forgot he even has a male end! I haven't heard hide nor hair of Matt asking for his male end! Or maybe he just trusts me to take good care of his male end? I have been taking very good care of it, I even take it out and play with it every now and then. Which I'm sure is more than Matt ever did for his poor male end!
