Maybe it was the hype, saw it and it was a decent movie but seriuosly I have seen episodes of "A Haunting" that freaked me out more than this.
Anyone else disappointed

Really? Well, I guess I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD then, LOL! I figured I'd see it and say, yeah, that happened to me last week, LOL!

[no spoilers but personal opinions - readin is ur choice]
run your mouse over it to read I blacked it out to be sure to not displease anyone ;D
just watched it, but from what I understood from comments on IMDB I didn't see the theatrical version of the ending, I saw the 2007 ending, and from the description of the theatrical one I think I like the non-theatrical one better.
I think I see where you're coming from ander - but I guess this movie is suppose to scare in a different way - Idk, I was disturbed by it - disturbed by what it did to their relationship. If the movie makers' intention was to scare me into fits of screams then it failed, but if it was to disturb me then it did a good job.

I've gotten mixed reports on this. Some people say it was really scary, others were disappointed with it. I think I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD since I don't have much time with my move to go off traveling to see it right now.

Dens I agree there were people sitting around me who had commented on it scaring them. Maybe I went into it to excited and ready to be scared. And, yes I agree that was the most disturbing part of the whole movie for me as well.

Let me put it this way, I saw it yesterday, and now I'm rather tired from not sleeping last night. Like Blair Witch, it tends to be more disturbing after you've seen it than during, and like BW it won't appeal to everyone. (Though this is a much more intimate take on the same general theme, as opposed to Blair's more primal vibe.) I'll be writing a full review ASAP on my site, but no, I didn't feel cheated if only because I'd much rather see a weird indie film than 'Saw 47' any day.

I have not seen it yet, or may not be able to. I get sick very easily by shaky cameras and video games. If its anything like The Blair Witch Project (shaky), then I cannot watch it. I nearly threw up and passed out within 10 minutes of the movie. Anyway, can anyone tell me if I will be able to watch it? Thanks.

You know how it is nowadays...if you make money on something do it again and run with it. I'm not sure I'll want to see it though, I didn't like the first one much. Thanks for sharing though, off to check it out....

I really enjoyed it. I found it to be really spooky and also I enjoyed the second one. I like how they tied both films together.
I hear that a third one is on the cards, I cant wait !!!!
I'm a real sucker for films like this.
I just love found footage films apart from Cannibal Apocalypse which I wouldnt dare see.

Nice to meet you! I'm glad you liked the films, so far I've only seen the first one. I can't seem to find enough time to watch the second one. One of these days hopefully, I'll get to see that one, too! Welcome aboard!
