First let me say thanks for the great podcast. I've been listening to it a lot recently on iTunes and it is great. Here is my story:
I've always been interested in the paranormal. I remember rushing home from basketball practice in high school on Friday nights to watch the X-files and stuff like that. What really cemented my interest in the paranormal was an incident that happened over a decade ago. There were rumors going around town of devil worship being performed at a house on the outskirts of town. This place was way out in the middle of nowhere. Well being the brave (i.e. stupid and naive) kids that me and my friends were, we decided to go find out for ourselves what was going on at this place. So we drove out there one day after school, and got the shock of our lives. This place was on a little bitty dirt road, and it seriously looked like something out of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The place was boarded up, so we kicked in a window around back and climbed in. Yes, I know how stupid this was, but like I said we were kids. When we got inside it became apparent that something crazy was going on. There were pentagrams and stuff all over the walls in the first hallway we walked into. There was also a pool table lying on the floor with all its legs cut off. The felt on the table was stained with something red. We saw a skeleton of some kind of creature out back of the house so I can only speculate as to what the red stuff was. When we went upstairs there was more crazy writing on the walls and some kind of red stuff smeared all over the walls. The worst was yet to come. While we were looking around upstairs, this man came up behind us with a shotgun and started yelling at us to get out. I turned around and he had this gun pointed right at us. I've never been that freaked out in my life. Needless to say, we split from that place in a heartbeat. I have no idea where that guy came from, but I didn't really feel like sticking around to ask either. From then on I've always been interested in the paranormal because I know for a fact that something was going on in that house. Anyway, that's my story. Keep up the good work...
