Hello all…
Preparations have started already for my “Ghost of the Bridgewater Triangle” book. I’ve started collecting stories and doing interviews with people who have had experiences.
I am looking to see what people think of as the most haunted places in the Triangle. I’m looking for first hand accounts, known haunted places, rumors and urban legends and old accounts passed down. Share your stories…
What are the five most haunted places in the Triangle. I am not so interested in UFO or cryptid sights, but feel free to contact me about those.
You can post it here (always good for sparking conversation) or e-mail me directly at alosa1066@masscrossroads.com
Thanks and I’ll see you in the Crossroads…

Well, for now, I can concur that Anawan Rock seems to have a haunting going on. My partner, mmecurie and I were assigned there for "The Bridgewater Triangle Special Edition" Spooky Southcoast. We were there on a very cold night, but that didn't stop our keetompoags from coming and playing their drum, and flitting through the trees. I have a couple evp's from that night, and no photographic evidence, but from our personal experiences that night, with swishing pants and figures flitting through the trees, it was very exciting. At one point, I swear I saw a smoky grey, tall, thin, and I got the impression, very old, man standing against a tree, I wasn't quick enough to catch him on film before he melted away, or should I say vanished? I don't know if the fact that both mme and I have Native American blood helped to stir things up out there, but I can say, just the feelings I had out there were worth the trip. If you'd like to hear the evp's they are posted here, and I know the Spooky Crew said they don't mind if I share them. So if you'd like copies of what I've got, let me know, I'd be happy to share them with you!
I do have a couple other things about the Bridgewater Triangle, I'll try to post 'em up for ya, as I have time! Good luck on your project and please, keep us posted as to how it's going, I know I for one will be reaally excited to hear when it comes out so I can grab one!

Anawan is definitely up there. Filming in Hi-8, on nightshot in 12 degree weather, I got an EVP on video of a bird chirping. (Now that techno-hubby got it transferred onto DVD, I have to go over the video again and cut and mark it so that I can post it here!) It was 12 degrees out - there were no birdies chirping at midnight, for sure!
Watching the shadows zipping along in the trees was wild. Unfortunately, the range of the video camera's night shot mode is about 10 feet. The shadows and forms were about 20 - 25 feet away from us.
I was touched on the back of the neck while I was standing and filming as well. Now that the warmer weather is here, I'm looking forward to going back with Aneaglesangel on a nice WARM night! : )

I'd like to interview you both about what you experienced there. If that works for you.
If so, reply here or e-mail me at alosa1066@masscrossroads.com.
I'd like to hear some of your other stories as well.
Thanks for posting.
Chris

I"m sorry Chris, I am not sure if the email went through to you or not. How about if I post it here, and that way, mmecurie can correct me if I'm wrong on any of her information. She said to go ahead and fill you in on her behalf, but that is sort of hard, it's second hand to me, LOL! But here's what I mailed to you today, in case it didn't go through to you, and mme, please correct any misinformation I may have here! Here, maybe this is easier! Conditions on 2/10/07 47% waning moon Solar x-rays are normal Geo-magnetic field Quiet Barometer 29.9 rising Humidity 50 % Dewpoint 12 degrees F Wind 6 MPH NW 12 degrees F at 6 P.M. We arrived at Anawan around 11 P.M. for a special edition for Spooky Southcoast. We had to climb to the top of the rock with flashlight beams. At the top, we began EMF sweeps, video and audio recording, and random digital camera shots. I had learned a bit of Wampanoag for the occasion, and had related some words to Gabby, my partner for Whaling City Ghosts. "Neetomp" was to me, the most important word we could know with possibly hostile Indian spirits, it means 'friend'. The Wampanoag language is extremely difficult, so I only learned simple words and may not have been using them in proper context, or pronouncing them correctly. Soon after arrival, we began to hear swishing noises in the forest around us. As time progressed, it seemed as if they were pants, swishing together, as figures flitted behind trees. I did not mention this feeling, but then my partner related to me, and I agreed. Other than the swishing noises, we heard NO OTHER noises, except for cars. It was very cold, there were no birds and no human noises, other than an occasional passing car. As I took EMF readings, it seemed as if a reading would come up, be there, then disappear, only to come back in a little bit. They were not steady, they'd come and go. I could stay in the same place and keep having these EMF spikes. Moving about the rock did produce the same effect, but not constantly, so I'm not sure if it was produced by the rock itself, or something else. I'd have to test that more. At one point, as I turned from snapping shots where I'd heard the swishing noise again, I thought there was a tall, thin, older Indian man standing against a tree, he was grey and wrapped in a blanket or fur, but then he vanished so fast, I wasn't sure I'd seen him, I was not quick enough to catch him with my camera, he was that quick. Gabby was touched by something on her neck. She checked to make sure it couldn't have been her coat rubbing, but it wasn't it was not close to her neck to be rubbing it. I also have some evp evidence. I can give you a run-down of them. I hope the links work for you, remember, it's cold, we're outside, no birds, no drums, LOL! As we moved about we repeated the word 'neetomp' many times, we wanted them to know we were friends, and Injuns, too! Another voice says neetomp in this one: media.putfile.com/anawan1Drums, which I know have been reported, my partner, nor I heard these audibly: media.putfile.com/anawan4Whistle or bird call? media.putfile.com/anawan5This was a word I didn't learn previously, but I found it, it means "friend, kinsman" and I wonder if they recognized our Indian blood? I'm Iriquois and Blackfoot and Gabby is also of Indian blood?? "Keetompoag." media.putfile.com/anawan8Gabby also has video footage that has a bird call type whistle in it. You'll have to see if she can get it to you. She's on myspace and spooky or I can give her your email address if you like? I don't know if this evp interests you. It's not of Indian nature but it's from Anawan. We were chasing the "Red-headed Hitchhiker of Rte 44" for Spooky that night, too, so heck, maybe it was him?? I do have more from Anawan, but these are the best quality ones, and handy, since they're stored on putfile. Let me know if you got them alright, and good luck with this. If there's anything else you need, don't hesitate to ask! media.putfile.com/anawan13
