Darn! Hey lildeb, I think we need to start our own secret society! I'd love to get to go to an open house. I wonder how you find out about it? There is one here in NB, so maybe if I ask them?? Or will they get mad and come git me?? I don't want no secret societies on MY tail!!!

Oh, back on topic, LOLOL!!!! I thought the Order of the Eastern Star was a pretty cool thing to find out about! I think I'd like to learn more about the Masons and what they did! I've always had the impression that they were sort of like witches, but witches that were accepted by the churchSounds intriguing dear, I look forward to reading about your interviews . Will you post your findings here??? Clara

Of course I'll post any findings here!! I usually try to write at least on article or story a week, LOL! My son's great-great grandfather was a mason. He had a ring and was like in the 30 someting levels, whatever that means, LOL! From what I've heard of them, it was somewhat like magic, but it was approved by the church. If I find out more, or get to talk to anyone, I will let you know! I just don't want to get into any trouble nosing around. I figure if they do have an open house, I'd like to go! One thing, I do hope that they appreciate their history and WANT to at least share that part of it! I don't have to know about their secret stuff, or anything, LOL!

Masons are Christians - Wiccans are Witches.
I am sure that if they do have an open house, it's for a very good reason. It may even help them get more people interested in that kind of thing. Just showing up wouldn't get anyone in trouble; if you were going for the open house. Leave your camera at home and be respectful, and things should be fine. <^o.o^<

Hmm, I'm not sure of that anymore! There is a church here in New Bedford that accepts all religions, and wiccans run the youth group and some of the other activities. I really enjoy going to some of the events, it's quite refreshing to go to a church where everyone is accepted!!

It's probably a Universalist Church that you are talking about. I don't know of any others that accept any religion. >^o.o^<

Hmm, if a Universalist and Unitarian church are the same, then yes!
