It was so awesome today! I went with C.A.I.P.R.S. today through parts of the Bridgewater Triangle! I'll post a few pics here for you guys! We went to Profile Rock first, then Dighton Rock, and lastly, the Hockomock Swamp!! I wish I could have gone into the Hockomock Swamp but had to meet up with my son who was coming back from Lazer Gate, LOL!! I have to say, it was great being with Derek and his team, they are really some great people! I hope you guys enjoy the pics! Thanks again to C.A.I.P.R.S. for having me, I had a really great time!! (Hope I can post pics here the same as on my websites, LOL!) Profile Rock, sacred to the Native Americans: Dighton Rock, which was actually under water and only the top portion was visible for four hours a day. Long enough to have the writings of four different cultures! Native American, Nordic or Viking, Phoenician and Portuguese writings are believed to be inscribed on this rock. There's a date of 1511 near the Portuguese inscriptions!! The "Cursed" Hockomock Swamp!! It has had reports of many strange occurences. UFO's have been sighted, black dogs with red eyes, and bipedal hairy creatures!! Or was that one of you guys?? C.A.I.P.R.S. said it could be one of their members roaming around out there, but I don't think I believe them, LOL!! Hmm, I hope I got these pics ok!! Here's the team! Thanks again for having me guys!! I'm sure my race car driver thanks you also!! LOL!!

Thank you so much for posting those pics! They are phenomenal. We're planning our own excursion out to the Triangle soon, and I just got word from the father of cryptozoology and the man who coined the term "Bridgewater Triangle," Loren Coleman, will be joining us on a future edition of "Spooky Southcoast," so stay tuned!

Thanks so much for posting the pictures (the joys of a digital camera). They came out really good!
Yesterday my fellow investigators from CAIPRS / Cape and Islands Paranormal Research Society, several guest, and I, spent the day trekking through parts of the Bridgewater Triangle. This was my first venture to these places, and I’m looking forward to going again.
Our first stop was Profile Rock. This wooded area is absolutely beautiful, and the profile of the Native American that sits among the rocks is quite impressive. Mother Nature is a fantastic artist, as you can tell by the great picture in aneaglesangel's post! There were no feelings of spirits being around us; however, the entire area felt peaceful and most inviting. I found climbing to the top of Profile Rock to be a little tricky at times but not all that bad, but the view from the top was worth the bruised shins.
Our second stop was at Dighton Rock, and we were happy to find the museum opened! This rock is an amazing object to reflect on. The museum had murals depicting all the possible findings people had after considering the many engravings found on the rock. There was no absolute answer as to what all the inscriptions mean or where exactly they came from, so we all left with our own conclusions. Intriguing to say the least.
Our third and final stop for the day was a walk down an old railroad bed that wound through part of the Hockomock Swamp. This was a very interesting area. The swamp and surrounding woods were alive with the noises of Spring (and the bugs weren’t too bad). One of my team members and I came across a ‘hot spot’ in one area of the woods off the railroad bed trail. The only way I can describe the feeling is that it felt like head to toe pins and needles. We have no idea what it was, but something definitely was there.
A lot of pictures were taken in all three of these areas. And if anything shows up in them, I’ll post them here if anyone is interested. I recommend going to these spots in the Bridgewater Triangle. They are truly fascinating places.

Pins and needles!! Excellent!! Wonder what it was?? I hope something comes up on the pics!! Can't wait to be able to go out with you guys again, I found you just so nice, and down to earth, and I like that in people, LOL!! I bet I'll be enoying the show by Loren, also if it's about BT!!

On Easter Sunday, my brother-in-law Gerard and I decided to make the quick trip from his house in Lakeville over to Profile Rock. While nothing significantly paranormal took place, there was something weird I couldn't quite understand...more on that below (you've been warned!) The approach to Profile Rock. Not quite what I was expecting...the graffiti is disheartening. The obligatory shot of the actual Profile. The view from the top. Here's where it gets weird...note the height at which this picture was taken, and the terrain one is required to overcome to reach it. (This is to the immediate left of the Profile--his right, your left from the ground). We found this pile of dung right there with a twig sticking out of the top. It was of significant size...it would have to be a very large dog, a human, or something even bigger. It would be a hard climb for a dog, but not impossible (especially if it's a coyote, something wild). Human is the most likely possibility, although there were no leaves or papers around that could have been used. It could have been planted there as a gag (and gag I did), but it seemed natural there, almost like when the Clydesdales drop heat in the middle of a parade and just keep on walking. If I had the means to take a sample back with me, I might've been able to convice Matt Moniz to analyze it, but alas, all we collected was some rock samples from the top we'll have him look at. Although considering CAIPRS was there the very day before, did anyone else see the dung pile? I can't believe this board has reached the point where we are now discussing the paranormal possibilities of a giant pile of poop !

There were 10 of us there last Saturday with CAIPRS, and noone came across that land mine. Could have been human, a wild animal, maybe bigfoot??? Whatever it was, one thing is for sure....."doodoo occurs!"

Hi there aneaglesangel - small world isn't it:P Glad you enjoyed the outing. We always manage to have a good time on our team outings. Glad you were able to come along, and nice to meet you. I'm hoping that something comes up in the pictures we took in the swamp too. But, whether something comes up or not, there was definately something there! >^..^<

Wow!! Poop does happen!! My son and I went back the same day, since my son was jealous. I didn't see any pile of poop either and I know my son would have, LOL!! If he'd seen it, he would have raised a stink about it, LOL!! I found the graffiti very disheartening myself. I hate to see something like that. Funny thing is, I don't think people can help doing it!! Look at Dighton Rock, that's early graffiti, LOL! A long time ago, I went to Block Island, in one of the buildings there was graffiti on the rafters in the attic. Alot of it had dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It was kind of weird, seeing the graffiti, the names, the dates, gave an odd feeling. But the graffiti on Profile Rock just gives a bad feeling to me. This place was sacred to the Indians. When you look at that profile, you can almost feel how the Indians did about it. It must have been meant so much to them to have such a profile made out of rock, put there by the great spirit, just for them. I'm not sure if it can be removed, but I'd love to see it erased and bring the rock back to its natural beauty!! Good thing Dighton Rock is enclosed in glass!!
Lilde! Any time you guys will have me, I'd love to go again!! It was awesome! I also feel I can learn alot from all of you!! I can hardly wait until tonight to hear you guys!! Hope the investigation went well for you last weekend!! Break a leg on the show tonight!!!

Oh, and almost forgot! Thanks alosa! If you get a chance to get out there with CAIPRS, make sure you go!! I am sure you'll have a great time!! Even if you go to the rocks on your own, it's a great trip. My son and I had a picnic on the top of Profile Rock!! Thank the lord there were no landmines then or it would have spoiled our appetites, LOL!!

I'll have some pictures of that outing we took through the Hockomok Swamp back in March. I misplaced my disposable camera and just found it, now just have to get it developed. Since then, I purchased a digital camera, so no more lost cameras! >^o.o^<
