"I like to see pictures of ghost. I have one in my house... I think. My lights flicker allot, and other strange things I like to see why these things happen to me."
Hello again CJ. Well, let's see. A lot of things can make lights flicker. Faulty or loose wiring, a bad connection, something wrong with the plug or the outlet. If it is just that one floor lamp, try plugging another lamp into the same outlet and see what happens. You could also try plugging in the floor lamp somewhere else in the house.
You mentioned that your dog liked to bark a lot. I hear you there! I had a dog once that barked almost every waking minute; I think she just liked the sound of her own voice-LOL. Granted, animals are very sensitive to paranormal events, but there are so many other reasons why they could be barking as well. You could try taking pictures of the area your dog is barking in, when he/she is barking. You might pick up something on film. Also listen......maybe your dog is barking as sirens or music in the distance. You never know, you could have a nasty neighbor that has a dog whistle too.
Houses have more history than most people realize. Remember, before anyone ever built a house there, something may have happened on the land. A house isn't always haunted because of the actual building that is there, someone may have attached themselves to the land for some reason
Keep in mind I am not, in any way saying that you don't have any paranormal activity going on there, but one thing that we, as paranormal investigators do, is to rule out all the possibilities first before we start thinking about ghosts.
Try those few things out that I suggested and see what happens, you never know. Good luck, and keep us posted. >^o.o^<

Very nice advice! Lildeb is da bomb with great ghost advice!! Try all that out, and keep a journal of what's happening. Sometimes having a record of all the events helps you to see if there's any pattern to the things that are going on. Do you have a cam to take pics with? That could help too! Also trying to get recordings can be useful. If you try everything lildeb suggested and you still have unanswered questions, the journal can be of the utmost importance. Good luck!! Please do keep us posted!!

Thanks - but I can't take all the credit for giving good ghost advise. I have learned a lot being with CAIPRS - that's where the credit goes ;D

A disposable camera will do just fine. But when you take pictures, try to be sure you don't have your flash facing right into a window, mirror, or other reflective areas. I know that this is hard to do, but reflections from the flash can cause false orbs in pictures. Also make sure that no one is smoking when you take a picture; and if they are, make a note of it, either on paper or a mental note. Smoke can appear as a fog in pictures.
It's good to take pictures with a regular film camera. That way you have a negative to check if you find an anomaly in a picture. Good luck - let us know how you do. ;D

Yes in a pinch a disposable camera is fine. I believe they even have disposable digital cams now! I haven't checked them out yet, but maybe that's a good spare for when I send my cam back to the factory. I won't send it until after the Haunted Dinner Tour with CAIPRS this Friday, yipppeeeeee!!!! It's good to learn a bit about photography but even an ameteur can snap a picture, so you'll do just fine!! Good luck and keep us all posted!!

I always have one or two disposable film cameras handy. You never know when the battery in your digital camera might unexpectedly go dead on you.
Although digital cameras have come a long way, isn't it true that regular film camera pictures are thought to be more credible because of the negatives?

Well, I once thought that lildeb, until I met Christopher Bailey of Grimstone-Inc. in Michigan!!! The guy is friggin' amazing with a digital pic!!! A digital pic also has a negative!!! I was shocked and amazed when I found this out!! It is all in the ".exif" part of an image! I need to take a class in photography to learn this, but Chris can take your digital pic, tell you what settings you had, what kind of cam you used, and what caused an anomoly. If you like, find a digital pic that you've wondered about. Post it on the site, The Spirit Society, and watch Chris go to town!!! He'll tell you all of the information about the shot, that you didn't even know!!!! Ooooh, how I wish I could be half as good with pics as him!!!

Oh I know that you can make a negative image on the computer. I've done that. But the digital pictures are easier to manipulate than the film pictures; that's what I meant.
I still like having a few disposable cameras in my bag at all times. Better safe than sorry. >^o.o^<

Howdy, My dog may be barking at a deer, I noticed one in the backyard this morning when she was barking away, the poor darling ran off, as Sadie scared it away. Clara

Don't be sad about that. Sadie was just doing her job to protect and serve her humans. And the deer did what deer do (did that sound right), it ran to safety from something threatening.
Besides, you solved one mystery. Now onto the next. ;D

Aaaw, I miss seeing deer in my yard!! I was giving a lesson to one of my students a while ago. A huge buck came running out of the woods and jumped over the six foot stock fence like it wasn't even there! It looked at us for a moment, then jumped the fence again and took off into the woods!! That's about the closest I've ever been to one, well, unless you count the time I tried racing one on horseback!!

I was walking though a wildlife preserve area near Chicago a few years ago. Just walking down this path enjoying the woods. I heard a noise around me, stopped, and one buck and four doe stood up all around me. I was never so scared!! I didn't even see them, they blended into the woods so well. We all just stood there for a minute or so staring at each other. I wasn't sure if the buck was going to go after me or not. The closest one was less than ten feet from me.
I started to slowly back up the path from where I had just come, and remembering never to look a wild animal in the eye. As I backed away, they slowly walked off in the other direction. Great experience except for one thing.................I DIDN'T HAVE A CAMERA WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
