If anyone wants more information on the exorcism in Warren mentioned by the guest on the show this week, you can find it at www.masscrossroads.com/warren. or read/research the book Satan's Harvest...

Yay! Thanks, that worked!! Off to read.....can't learn enough about this stuff, now can I??
Now that I've read it, thanks, this is the same direction Keith Johnson set me on. After our talk today, I'm sure you must know, man, I've got lots of work to do!!!
Very interesting case, but after reading this part, I wonder, was the exorcism really successful, or did this perpetrator behavior stem from his own childhood abuse??? I believe that the negative force of abuse whether it occurs as an adult or a child can bring negative entities into our realm, but I also believe that abuse causes abuse. Is the demon still alive and well in "Frenchy" or is he re-enacting his own abuse as a child? This article says he underwent psychological tests, don't you think the potential to commit such horrendous acts would have been discovered at this time, if they existed? Knowing what little I know of psychology from a daughter of a mentally ill person, and the mother of two mentally ill boys, I seriously doubt these characteristics weren't revealed in the tests!!

I think correct diagnosis can often depend on the tests administered. There are certain tests that contain "traps" meant to catch and reveal psychopathic or the now "pc term" - antisocial personalities, despite those persons' best efforts to outwit a true diagnosis; BUT you have to administer the right tests.
The exorcism case that occured in the late 50's in Maryland that is the basis for the movie The Exorcist is another example of what seems to be a genuine case of posession that is also entwined with suspected sexual abuse. The boy's aunt was said to have had an "unusually close" relationship with the boy. The aunt died suddenly, and problems began when he began trying to contact her via a Ouija Board.
So my next question is - how many possession cases involve individuals who have been sexually abused or are strongly suspected of being sexually abused?

Hmm, good point! I wonder, too! And you're very right about the right tests, but how do we know what tests were administered? I'm sure we're not able to access his records from those tests. Unless hmm, again, I'll let ya know when I get the book Keith suggested to me, it is about Ed and Lorraine Warren, so maybe there will be more details about this case in it?
Hmm, but I'm thinking, it's probably not just sexual abuse, but all abuse. I think any type of abuse sort of sets up its own atmosphere and vibe. All it takes is the right vibe, or atmosphere, or something, and these things have a doorway to enter.
