...was excellent! It's great to see that others think that graveyards should be cared for. I really don't do cemetery investigations, (though that is subject to change, LOL, in light of some recent pics, LOLOL) but I sure do love to go and take pictures of them! There's so many beautiful cemeteries around here, they should be cared for! I know a good cemetery to be adopted, but I'm not sure I can do the work it needs on my own. There are trees down on stones and everything. I would like to find out if Fall River would allow it to be cleaned up, for I've found it's not actually in Dartmouth, but right across the Fall River line. It's still ashame to see it forgetten and grown over so badly! These may not be our relatives, but they are our ancestors in a way, we should treat them as if they are our own families. I know respect is a lost art, but many of the people buried in some of these old graveyards, no longer have anyone living to remember them by. Is it so much to ask to remember the ones who've gone before us?? Great show guys, and I didn't forget ya Wednesday, I just ended up getting sidetracked! See ya Wednesday!

Have to make sure of the 'no living relative thing' before cleaning any of the gravestones. Some people do not want family graves to be cleaned up or bothered with at all. I have come across this type of thing before. You just never know who has relatives that still care - or do not. I had thought about researching some stones for relatives - but it is more work than I want to do. So, I pick up trash, water flowers, and restand fallen flags. Sometimes just the little things can make a big difference. >^o.o^<

Looks like some of the old cemeteries around here, after a rough Winter. Checking with the town is a good idea, and as long as it is not a private burial ground, the town says it is okay, and people have the time to put into doing it right; it's all good! >^o.o^<

LOL! It's more like 100 winters, LOL! You should see the place, it's like as soon as you step into it, time just stops. It's so grown over, quiet and lost, it's sort of a like stepping off a time machine, LOL! I wouldn't mind fixing the place up a bit, but like I say, I'd need alot of help, and a chainsaw or two! It's just sad to see the place like that and to think that none of those people are remembered anymore!
