*lays down 2 - Twenties* Ok. The bidding starts here. How much for the un-edited version? Does someone get nekkid? Man, I missed this party. What's up with that Angel? We, the ladies, are being dissed!

I feel as though I need to chime in here... Nobody was drunk. I was here and our young son was here; and I would not have "been down" with 3 grown men becoming impaired in the backyard with my child asleep in the house. I also would not have let anyone drive home. And in my opinion - they were all fine. I cleaned up the empties and half-fulls - and split between three grown men nobody could have been drunk; and I am quite certain that if they hid any empties in the shrubbery I would have had a visit from the neighbors by now. I haven't listened to the show yet as I've been short on time; but I would not assume that people were drunk and thus negate everything previously done or that yet to come. Just my opinion as an innocent bystander cooking in the house that night. And Tim - I bought that CVS mp3 player as a gift for you.

I have not had a chance to listen to this pod cast yet, but I can honestly say that these guys are a lot of fun to hang out with. They usually show up at our open meetings, then after the meetings, go with us to our 'local haunt' (pun intended) ;)hang out, talk, have a late night snack - just chill. Oh yeah, and no one gets drunk.
Why is it there is so much emphasis on the 'getting drunk' thing? Especially when, as spookywife said, they were not? Just wondering. >^o.o^<

Costa and I did have a good little glow, but would not say fall down drunk. Tim only had a shot and a beer. It was just a good time and the amount of booze Costa and I had, we could easily handle. We had enough to loosen up our tongues and just cut lose. Even if we did get plastered, so what, who cares, what does it matter as long as nobody got hurt and we stayed safe. Our aim was to let everyone get a little insight into a side of the Spooky crew that listeners don't get a chance to hear. We didn't have to do a show, we could of taken the time off, but we thought we would do it as a way to show the listeners that we are as dedicated to them as they are to us. To share that little piece of ourselves with the rest of our listeners. So to hell with the teetotaling little nobodies who can't take the fact that we are adults that like to have a good time like everyone else. What I want to know is what everyone else thinks of the content that is in the podcast. We open ourselves up to each other and to everyone else that listens and talk without constraints or censorship. Maybe one day we will go national, maybe not, but until either day happens we are just going to enjoy the friendships we have made with each other, and share the love for the spooky southcoast family that we have created.

I feel as though I need to chime in here... Just my opinion as an innocent bystander cooking in the house that night. Why do you feel the need to chime in? (i mean you can, we all know where the real power is) You have no reason to be ashamed or defend yourself! Your hubbie and your friends were having a bbq/bonfire in the backyard having a couple of drinks on a nice summer night. Like 90 million other people? Like I would be doing with my own family and people on this board would be doing. I found the podcast crazy and unexpected. I loved the back stories. I loved the cursing *giggle* It was *gasp* fun! The only complaint I have is that me and Angel weren't invited. So next time, Spookywife, Me, You, Angel and other ladies from the board should do the next pod cast, with cold Sam Adams/Guiness/Hard Cider in the bucket and have the boys in the kitchen! ;D ;D ;D

ok I have just listened to the podcast of the show that we did in Tim's backyard before we post it here. I know now that its not that is probably not a good idea to slowly get hammered as you record a show. ( then again, it does make some funny listening) I think that most of the people that will hear it should get a very good laugh at what we did put on the show. Allot of that night did not make it on the podcast, but what we did get in was a hoot. this is why i understood you all got drunk and did a show, I did not listen to the show its probably not a good idea to get slowly HAMMERED as you record a show. That is what made me say what I said is the original poster M.M. Mat i think you need some anger management classes due to your responses and calling people names when your mad. Thanks for responding in a professional manner Tim I get what your saying about QUOTE:Do you have no respect for a journalist/scientist/etc that is willing to let down his guard, let his hair down, say he doesn't take himself too seriously, and has a few drinks? Or do you prefer the radio and television personalities who drink and then go on the air WITHOUT telling you that they've had a couple of pops? Believe me, there are plenty, and in my business I even know a few you are right about that and sorry to have offended so many people Gees. but the way Matt said it it sounded like you did a show that my friends would have done back in high school get drunk and record yourselves. just didn't think that type of show would do much for your credibility. Sorry if you don't understand what I am saying to you. and spooky wife no need to defend your husband hun. he answered very well, even if they did get drunk there is nothing wrong with that having a good time, my concern was airing it. The way this post was introduced it sounded TO ME like they just did a party show. if they were getting drunk while your son slept its OK if there not hurting anyone who cares and your sons asleep hey mommies and daddy's got to let loose too. My comment was not about getting drunk it was my concern about getting drunk ON AIR for all listeners to hear. If the show had to be edited so badly it made it sound like you guys got a Little to out of control. Good luck to all of you. Didn't mean to piss off anyone just te4lling my opinion that I was all set with listening to an episode of drunkenness, yes you guys are goofy thats great way to be.. I dont have a problem with that. I formed my opinion based on what Matt . M. wrote guessed I should have known better to listen to a loose cannon anyway and yes your right cotton I should have listen to the show myself before forming a opinion based on what Matt said Good Day all!! Clara, kiss my ass your nothing but a little sniper with everything you post on. So when you get called on it you back peddle and try to be a smooth operator and kiss up to Tim and look for forgiveness. My statement still stands-HIT THE BRICKS and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. (or this lose cannon will REALLY fire a cyber shot at you)

CJ, ya know, everyone makes a mistake sometimes. With message boards, it's ok to let loose, or say things in a big way!! It's a fun place to go and have some fun, let loose, talk about things. I'm famous at other sites for whipping out my "magic blendaah" if you read the message boards you'd think I was a flaming alcoholic!!! Fact is, I rarely drink, and only if I go out, which is rarely, I'm a mom and all. Now if a guys says he's getting hammered on a message board, you can't take that as fact. What some would call getting hammered is being pretty drunk, and what others would call being hammered, is having a couple drinks. Since I rarely drink, and apparently the guys also rarely drink, I'd call having a couple drinks getting hammered too!!
I've been around many paranormal message boards. Some are very cut and dry, don't allow for much horseplay, others are very much into horseplay. I find the ones that allow a bit of cutting loose and horseplay are the funner boards. The paranormal can be a very dry field, especially for the investigators who put in long hours with little result. Or the radio show hosts who have real jobs, but also spend much of their free time trying to bring you a great show!! I think a little horseplay is only in good fun, and I hope that you will come, have one of my special blender drinks, and continue to enjoy the show, and visiting these wild and crazy barbecue burning boys and when you do, have a laugh, learn something new, discuss outlandish theories, but most of all, have a good time!!!
I hope you do get a chance to listen to the show. I have to finish listening myself, but from what I've heard of it, our guys were very appropriate, well other than an f-bomb or two and burning the grill up!!! If not, well, have a good life, and hope ya find a board and new show that is proper enough for you, but I'm sure it won't be as much fun!!

I will most likely not drink again for a long time, as my own choice to do so, not because some little piss-ant doesn't like the idea of me doing it. So get off your high horse and hit the bricks and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out if you can't accept that we are REAL people with REAL things to say about the subject. This podcast was about us as REAL people, not the phony persona's that are what most of the other shows really are. (please note that these are my feelings and are not the opinions of spooky south coast)
Matt you need to relax man, I could care less if you drink. Did you hurt someone??? Kill someone??? Then it does not matter if you drank the point was drinking on air you are suppose to set an example as a talk show host you are in the public eye now. If you can't handle it then get off your little pony honey. you need a few drinks to be a REAL person with something Real to talk about, do you not hear yourself man. Maybe when you post you should save what you wrote step back a bit go back and re read the post before making it public for all to read. At least you had enough sense to remind people this is your view not spooky south coast
