Just wanted to say how fantastic this show was. I shan't ruin it for anyone who might not have heard it yet but it was absolutely wonderful - I was gripped from start to finish and pretty much had goosebumps by the end. Congratulations to everyone who was involved, I am hugely impressed. All the best, David.

Yeah it was a great show! I enjoyed it quite a bit myself! After all that packing and moving it was the most awesome thing over my weekend, LOL!
I wonder if they'll ever find Matt Moniz again......

It was really great to hear the original Orson Welles War Of The Worlds play too - driving home at night I was casting sideways views at the skies - just in case..

LOL! I don't know, I've been begging those darned aliens to abduct me and fix my spine. I figure they must have the technology to do it. I wouldn't even mind trading a few eggs for it, heck, I don't need them! It would be pretty cool to think of my star child up there zooming around the galaxy and all.....

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and a future Alien Liaison..(!) As an aside, here in the UK I live not very far from Horsell Common where the first Martian cylinder landed in HG Wells' original novel of TWOTW. It's a pretty creepy place at the best of times to be honest, and I know it's just a story, but.. (shudders).

I can't say I blame you, it's funny how things stick with us. I also think you have got some pretty creepy old buildings over there anyway. (Man, I'd love to investigate some of them!) In thinking of the power of a story and using real places, I'm sure there was a reason why Wells picked that spot. He probably knew that for all time when people take a look at that particular place, he'd bring a shudder to the person looking at it. In my eyes, the story of a good storyteller lives on forever, and brings a shudder for all time. I think Mr. Wells did his job well, for he definitely has you shuddering every time you take a look at it!
But don't worry! I'll put in a good word for you with my alien buddies! Soon we should be great friends! I'll teach them all about paranormal investigation as known on Earth, they'll get a few eggs, and I'll get my super duper hydraulic spine, better than before and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, pick up cars and throw them, all that and a free ride through the solar system! Man, I sure hope they let me bring my camera!

Well, I'm not going to use mine anymore, so I figure, why be greedy with them? And the thought of having a beautiful little star child out there, reaching beyond the limits of us poor little humans stuck here on Earth, well, that's a pretty cool idea in my eyes! I mean we leave behind our heritage in children. What if one of our children could be so much more? To live on in my child somewhere out in space! Woot! My DNA loose out there, somewhere, maybe some other galaxy on some other planet! To boldly go where no man (or woman) has gone before......WICKED!!

;D;D That's incredibly public spirited of you..! I do genuinely hope though that you manage to have your back fixed in a more conventional manner..
